Prospect Park can be reached in a little over five minutes' walk and offers plenty of walking routes, picnic spots and even a zoo. The Brooklyn Museum is only a quarter of an hour on foot as well, but Manhattan's cultural destinations aren't that far away, either – the MoMA takes thirty-five minutes on the subway, for instance.
