Further to my telephone conversation of yesterday evening; we had a few complaints , it lists the pub restaurant is 4 mins from the cottage ,shop 2 mins.. Pub on a very busy road part of the way no footpath you need high vis jackets it also took my husband 12 mins, shop 4mins although the shop is a 24hr garage on the same main road it has a footpath. We booked this cottage for the nearness of pub and shop as l have mobility problems.
The cottage is NOT a cottage apart from the bedroom upstairs the owners sleep upstairs as you hear them walking around, therefore it's a ground floor apartment with afirst floor bedroom. We had to ask if they had a higher chair which they brought 2 cushions in to put on the sofa, which is less than a foot off the floor.
We had to get my family to bring a director's chair other than that l would have had to sit on a dining chair for the week.
We also had to ask them to put the garden /patio furniture out, this is not in the best of order.
We are the third family to stay in this property, New season l wonder what it will be like by the end of summer.
Very disappointed, please make sure others staying are fully aware of situation of property, which is not in a village and with out easy access to a pub / restaurant.
