We used this cabin as a base for a few days whilst exploring the East coast/Skegness/Mablethorpe area. We found it to be clean and tidy with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It is dog friendly and we’re sure our small dog enjoyed it as much as us. It has a nice sized garden with a dog proof fence where our pooch made friends with the chickens and sheep. The owners are very friendly and include some lovely touches with some supplies included as a well appreciated welcome. The East coast in that area includes some beautiful beaches surprisingly unpopulated so close to the more popular resorts. Would thoroughly recommend.

We greatly enjoyed this stay at The Nook.. Nikki and Ashley Barker were friendly and helpful, and welcomed us with some nice eggs and a traditional Linclonshire plum fruit loaf and lemonade. We had plenty of space in the comfortable cottage, and snug warmth on a prematurely chill September day of rain and blustery wind. The location was ideal for us who are country lovers, and we enjoyed the nearby company four tups who were our immediate neighbours, and the hens and partridge. It has to be admitted that the kitchen is a little small, especially considering the generous size of the lounge and bedroom, but with a little creative discipline, we were able to organise our meals. Hot water is freely available, both in the kitchen and the bathroom, and there is good central heating - not that we needed it after the first rather cold day. Indeed, for the rest of the week, we had the radiators switched to zero. All in all, highly recommendable.

Lovely location.. Cottage spotlessly clean. Fenced garden for the dogs.My husband is disabled and this cottage was superb for him. Large spacious ground floor bedroom and walk in shower. So above our expectations for accessibility. Lovely public footpaths in surrounding area for dog walks. We were visiting relatives nearby but short drive to beach and market towns. Will be booking again. Thank you to our hosts.

Although we had to cut the holiday short after 2 nights due to Covid 19 we will definitely be going back.. The owners were lovely and our dogs relaxed immediately, the grounds are safe and the chickens really friendly. Felt so peaceful and relaxed would recommend to anyone.

Excellent property.. Perhaps shouldn’t be marketed with Wi-Fi access as exceedingly poor However the property is rural so connectivity is a problem.

The cottage was perfect, it had everything we needed.. The kitchen was well equipped and the eggs and gifts were lovely touches. It is set in well kept surroundings and the sheep and chickens were lovely to see out of the windows each morning. It was perfect for us. We needed accommodation as we were attending a family funeral in the area, and the cottage was just like going home every evening after a very difficult few days. We could not have asked for more. Thank you

What a beautiful little place! Stunning views all around, outstandingly clean and tidy little cottage. Myself and my husband came away for a couple of days retreat for our second year anniversary and what a perfect place to relax and unwind from the hectic lifestyle we live in the Midlands. The cottage is furnished to a very high standard and includes everything you could possibly need. The fire is beautiful at cold nights. The bed is incredibly comfortable!! I wanted to take it with me! And the mezzanine overlooking the countryside was such a peaceful added extra. We took our little pup and she didnt want to leave, she's been sulking ever since we arrived home. Perfect place for dogs! We will definitely be back maybe summer time to enjoy the outside abit more! Mr & Mrs Baker are incredibly accommodating, nice little added touches for when you arrive and always on hand to assist if needed :o)

The Nook was a good example of a rural setting but with facilities still fairly close by .. We have two dogs and found the outside tap very usefull on wet muddy days ,we think its an absolute must so well done to the owners thoughtfulness.loads of space in the lounge/dining area and superb bedroom ,good idea as well to keep dogs out of bedroom and off furniture i think this should go accross the board on all pet friendly lets.so whoever goes to the Nook enjoy.. The cottage was extremely comfortable, cosy and warm.. There was plenty of space so as we have two Basset Hounds we always need somewhere for their beds. The village was very pretty and with a quiet lane close by we were able to take the dogs out first thing and last thing for a bathroom stop! Owners were helpful and around if needed and the few days we were there were most enjoyable. There was very nice selection of 'goodies' on arrival too. Would like to book and visit again.
