Excellent little holiday cottage. Clean, new and modern decor (wonderful pink kitchen!), two en-suite bedrooms; one with a super king bed and one with a king bed (both very comfy), great hot showers, strong wifi, all the kitchen equipment you could need, and parking. A great base for exploring the Lakes and long walks around Windermere. Perfect for two couples, or one couple who just want a bit of extra space. Easy to get local taxis to get around after dark if you don’t want to drive (the roads are very dark to walk down). Highly recommend the Gilpin Spice restaurant nearby. Didn’t want to leave!

We loved Neon Rose and appreciated the amazing design features, there were comfy sofas, a breakfast (or cocktail) bar, great showers and super comfy beds. It is quite a walk from Bowness which didnt bother us though on a dark evening you need a cab home as the lane is not well lit and is single track. It is such a peaceful spot and it felt like waking up in the countryside while being so close to the lake! Had a small issue with the designated parking spaces which one neighbour kept encroaching on, if you had 2 cars and needed both spaces, then this might be an issue. But having said that we would return!
