Upon arrival at the majestic wooden door, you can tell that this historical building is full of charm. With a vintage wooden lift taking you up to the attic – better known as a penthouse in the 21st century – we love its old-fashioned character. Inside, the wooden theme continues with a striking piece of art in the lounge, but this time surrounded by modern interiors. The furnishings are minimalist, with neutral tones and white walls bringing a fresh vibe. However, this is all to make way for the apartment’s most exciting features – two terracotta terraces for alfresco drinking, dining, and admiring jaw-dropping views. If you do manage to make it back down to street level, Diagonal metro is a two-minute walk. But when you can see Gaudí’s masterpieces from home, you might want to stay put.
