Within 0.8 miles, there is a shop, and within 1.9 miles, a pub. Two well-behaved pets are welcome. Sorry, smoking is not permitted. This picturesque Welsh village is 3 miles inland from the most northerly town in Wales, Amlwch, and borders the North Anglesey Heritage Coast. A mile away, on Parys Mountain, you can walk among the ruins of the world's largest copper mine from the 18th century. Amlwch's mediaeval harbour was a thriving port and is now a popular tourist destination. Beautiful sandy beaches and spectacular cliff top walks are all around this lovely island. A day trip to Snowdonia or a trip to Dublin from the nearby port of Holyhead are all options for visitors to the wonderful mediaeval town of Beaumaris.
