Spent a week here in November 21. It was spotlessly clean and very well provided. Everything you might need was there. Beds very comfortable and a pretty little garden Coln St Aldwyn is a charming village with a pub and a shop. Would highly recommend and plan to return.

Lovely little cottage in a gorgeous village. Lots of walks nearby including a short walk to Bibury. The New Inn and The Keepers Arms are both within walking distance which is great. The Lodge is very spacious but unfortunately the WiFi only worked in one room, the glassware and pots and pans could be replaced (only one wine glass) and we also struggled with hot water for showers. We still loved staying here and enjoyed breakfast and lunch in the sun on the terrace. It is perfect for a couple who enjoy country walks.

My family consisting of my husband and I, 11 month old son and labrador have just returned from a lovely 5 night break at the lodge. Set in a quiet village with beautiful surrounding walks (perfect for a dog) the lodge is a peaceful cottage with the opportunity of a socialization at the pub just 2 doors up. The cottage is impeccably clean and well equipped and we had a lovely stay. Our son used the travel cot on offer (mothercare brand) we also made use of the stair gate and hugh chair. There were also toys in one of the cupboards which my son loved playing with. There is no parking space and instead you are asked to use the road. This was fine for us and there was always space (though we did visit in November so a quiet time) On an evening we had a couple of drinks in the local pub the staff are super friendly and serve great food and beer. Dogs are well contained with in the well enclosed garden. If I was to suggest any improvements, I would update the mattress - I slept very well but my husband not so much. The side of the mattress closest to the door has sank slightly. Also for the technical of us a more up to date TV and better wifi would be a bonus - it cuts out a lot. Wouldn't have normally been an issue with such beautiful surroundings but we had some poor weather and returned early to the cottage with our young son. We'd love to return to the lodge one day and will highly recommend to friends.

The cottage was attractive and in the centre of a very pretty Cotswolds village, while still being peaceful.. Everything we needed was provided in the cottage, nothing had been overlooked. The garden, though small, was well laid-out and pretty, and also dog-proof, which was important for us. There is a pub just 100 yards up the road, which is dog-friendly. There are many good walks nearby, including the walks to Bibury and back, from the cottage. The Wi-Fi worked well. We had some cold weather while we were staying in the cottage, but we were able to boost the heating, to have it on during the day, one day, and the log-burner worked well, so we were warm. We really couldn't fault the cottage.

A quaint, warm Cotswold renovated cottage that we and our dogs loved.. 2 minutes away from fields for the dogs to run and well-located for Burford, Cirencester in one of the Cotswolds prettiest villages. Always a bonus to have a friendly well-stocked shop at the top of the street

This was our fifteenth stay at the Lodge - generally visiting three times a year.. Lovely as ever. Beautiful countryside for walking and stunning scenery for driving.

This was our 4th booking through Manor Cottages and they did an outstanding job in assisting with a cottage selection to meet our requirements in location and facilities.. Their suggestion of The Lodge in Coln St Aldwyns met our specifications exactly. A most comfortable and charming cottage in an equally charming village. All the comforts we desired and ideally located for drives to other Cotswold villages. A 10 out of 10 rating
