The Little White Cottage is a delightful holiday home set in a rural location, close to Ruthin in North Wales. This cottage sleeps two people in one mezzanine double bedroom with en-suite shower room. The cottage also has an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside there is off road parking for 1 car and an enclosed, front patio with furniture and barbecue. The Little White Cottage is an ideal base for a couple who enjoy walking and those who wish to visit the towns of Ruthin and Mold. Note: Two well-behaved dogs welcome.

The town of Ruthin is situated to the north of Llangollen via the breathtaking Horseshoe Pass in North Wales. The town offers half-timbered buildings, shops, Ruthin Gaol and Ruthin Craft Centre.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Brilliant location for walks without the need to drive to the destination .. Cottage was well equipped, cosy and modern. Bed very comfy and very good shower, cottage was cleaned to a high standard. Very dog friendly. Dave and Trish excellent hosts.

This is a perfect cottage for a quiet get away.. Spotlessly clean, well equipped, comfortable and peaceful. It has a superb location with spectacular views from the patio to enjoy. Plenty to do in the local area too so all in all, a little gem!

Beautiful cottage and wonderful hosts.. Not intrusive but nothing too much trouble if any issues, however small. Cottage kitted out to a high standard and much more practical with washing machine and dryer and fridge and freezer. Not tried to squeeze a dishwasher in like some do. Perfect location for us, in a secluded valley and our Doberman thought she was heaven in the Forest as did we when we saw the night sky! No light pollution!! We will be back. A. Dawson. Manchester

Thanks so much for a lovely week! Nice to be welcomed with biscuits, and with coffee and tea on hand. (And having a cafetiere in the kitchen was simply brilliant - we had brought our own beans on the off-chance!) Great selection of DVDs as well. Everything we could want.

Had a wonderful relaxing holiday, the cottage has everything you need especially a great shower and a really comfortable bed.. The area is beautiful with lots of walks for different abilities close by. The patio has the sun all day long so if you fancy doing nothing it's the place to be. We will definitely be returning.

The Little White Cottage is a home away from home! ! Decorated to a high standard and so cosy, the bed is so comfortable. Patricia and Dave have thought of everything to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible, with the added extra of tea, coffee, milk and biscuits when you arrive (much appreciated). As for the location it is stunning, the views are amazing, with plenty of beautiful walks right on the doorstep, Moel Famau is literally across the road. Idyllic cottage, Idyllic location will definitely be recommending this cottage to family and friends.

The accommodation was extremely homely and comfortable and well equipped for all our needs.. The area is beautiful (especially with hilltops covered in snow!). Lovely, but strenuous walking direct from the front door with amazing views around. The owners were extremely helpful and on hand if needed. We would highly recommend Little White Cottage.

A lovely cosy cottage, a small kitchen but has everything you need, a lovely large comfy bed with ensuite, Trish and Dave are great hosts, it is also idealy situated as a base to visit loads of places to visit and great walks right on the doorstep thoroughly enjoyed my week there and will definately return and recommend it to anyone who likes peace and quiet lovely walks and the choice to visit other parts of Wales in either direction..

We had a wonderful time at the little white cottage and we hope to go back sometime great hosts and the bed was the best bed we have ever slept in.. Highly recommend also to come home without a case full of dirty washing was a real treat didn’t expect a washer and drier in the cottage so came home with washing all done wow a treat. Could not fault the hosts or the cottage at all and our puppy Bertie also enjoyed his stay just a shame we had to come home as could just retire and live there , the peace and scenery were amazing . We are now back to reality unfortunately but as Arnold Schwarzenegger once said “we will be back”.

That there is another holiday let right next door, with shared garden access.. Our dogs and the other holiday let's dogs got on well but something to be aware of if taking your dogs with you.

This is a lovely little cottage which although it is not huge is quite big enough for two.. The surrounding surrounding views from the cottage are,as they say are to die for. I will definitely be going again if for nothing more than for the relaxation. The owners who live in the main house were so welcoming also In a word “WONDERFUL”

Hosts were very helpful friendly & welcoming.. Cottage is devine, perfect for 2 adults & our 2 dogs. Beautiful location & fabulous for walks, easy to strenuous. No telephone signal in the cottage but wifi is provided. The perfect relaxing escape we wanted & we weren't disappointed.

My fiancée and I stayed in The Little White Cottage over the festive period. Our stay couldn't have been better. From arrival to departure our hosts were warm and welcoming, the cottage was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with everything we needed for our week long stay. The living room and kitchen area is smallish but comfortable and contained both wi-fi and sky TV. The bedroom and en-suite bathroom were more than adequate, the bed being very comfortable - giving us some of the best sleep we've had in ages! The local pub 'The Druid', only a short walk away, proved to be a very pleasant place to spend the evening, being well stocked with a varied menu, and a good selection of beer, wines and spirits. There is a wide array of walks quite literally on the doorstep - from fairly flat to really quite steep and challenging depending on which way you happen to turn having left the cottage. We'll definitely be back the next time we need to get away from it all!
