This part of Schöneberg isn’t the liveliest, but The Liselotte is very well-connected to the rest of Berlin. A great base for exploring the city (in particular if you’re a family or a larger group of friends), it has all the amenities you need – plus several balconies. We love how bright and airy some of the bedrooms are, which is especially great if you’re looking for a comfortable night’s sleep.
Home truths: *Aside from the kitchen, there aren’t really any communal spaces in this home
*The design is slightly lacking in character
*Bedroom four and five overlook another building, so they don’t get a lot of natural light
*Sadly, the immediate location isn’t super lively – it’s well-connected though (busses and trains)
*The walls could do with a lick of paint to cover up the scuff marks
*We noticed a hole in the floor next to the window in the kitchen – the host knows about this
