One of two gorgeous holiday cottages set within the tranquil grounds of Tyddyn Mawr House nestled in the beautiful Welsh countryside. There are 14 acres of land to explore which include attractive well-maintained gardens with seating areas tucked around every corner and a delightful summer house stocked with a library of books and DVDs. "There is really no need to leave the grounds of Tyddyn Mawr with 14 acres to explore, wild swimming and fishing all on your doorstep!" Explore further and you’ll find a private lake with views across the valley, perfect for a spot of fishing and a picnic and keep an eye out for the resident geese and Soay sheep. The Honey Pot is a lovely detached stone bungalow that’s been designed with a clean country style and has bags of charm. You could easily spend a break here without ever needing to leave the grounds, but if a day’s exploration is on the cards you have the historic town of Criccieth with its castle and beaches, the shops and heritage railway of Porthmadog and the Snowdonia National Park all just a short drive away. If you need a little extra space, The Little Coach House is also available in the grounds sleeping a further two.

Two bedrooms: 1 x double ensuire, 1 x twin ensuite. Double ensuite bath with shower attachment, WC and basin. Twin ensuite with shower, WC and basin. Open plan kitchen, dining and sitting area with electric fire.

Area
Pretty little hamlet known locally as Garn, on the outskirts of Porthmadog, a short drive away. Enjoy lovely views over the mountains and Cwm Pennant. At Porthmadog enjoy a good selection of shops and cafes or take a ride on the Highland Steam Train. Or pop along to Criccieth and enjoy its lovely beaches and castle.

Ample off road parking. Enclosed paved seating area in addition to 14 acres of shared grounds with gardens, summer house, lake. One dog welcome please ask for second dog, there will be a £20 charge for second pet. Pubs, shops and restaurants 4.5 miles. NOTE There is livestock around the land so dogs must be kept on a lead. NOTE: Can also be booked with The Little Coach House that sleeps 2 and/or Garden Cottage that sleeps 4. Note: There is a good housekeeping bond of £150. Note: Saturday check in only.
