The Hayloft is a luxurious conversion in the village of Bleddfa near Knighton in Mid Wales. The cottage can sleep ten people in five bedrooms, made up of a mezzanine king-size double with en-suite facilities, two doubles and two twins as well as a family bathroom and a ground floor basin and WC. The cottage also contains a utility, open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area as well as a second sitting room. To the outside of the cottage is off road parking for five cars and an enclosed front lawned garden with patio, furniture and hot tub. Located in stunning countryside, The Hayloft is a luxurious cottage suitable for a great holiday at any time of the year.

Five bedrooms: 1 x mezzanine king-size double with en-suite shower, basin and WC, 2 x double (one on second floor), 1 bedroom with a double and a single, 1 bedroom with a twin (on second floor). Bathroom with roll-top bath, separate shower, basin and WC. Ground floor basin and WC. Utility. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Sitting room.

Area
Bleddfa is a small village in the rolling hills of Radnorshire, on the edge of Radnor Forest. This lovely village is just a short drive from the popular market town of Knighton, situated on Offa's Dyke and opening up fabulous walking along the border and into the stunning countryside of the Shropshire Hills. The town of Presteigne is just 8.5 miles away with a range of independent shops.

Beautiful scenic location.. Generally barn conversion was clean and well equipped. Very spacious. Host were friendly and dealt with any issues promptly and efficiently. I would you change the mattresses on the double beds has they were very uncomfortable. Thank you for letting the sheep visit, made the kids day. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The facilities are wonderful and the space is exceptional.. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hayloft is very isolated but if you want peace and quiet it is perfect. However flies continue to be an issue that slightly spoil the holiday.

Stayed here for a few days with family and loved it. The setting is idyllic and the hayloft itself breathtaking. Everything is good quality and generally well maintained. From arrival, with a small welcome package, to departure everything was flawless. If you are after a break from it all this is just the place. The only couple of issue we had were flies! Which the owners had tried to control but they were present in large numbers which is slightly disturbing. Also for some weird reason quite a few large lorries rumble past the end of the drive several times a day on the way up to the farm. As it’s a very rural place it’s hard to block them out. I would also recommend the owners layout a suggestions pack for walks etc that can be accessed nearby as we basically drove everywhere for lack of information. Even an evening stroll round the field opposite would be good as there seems to be very little access to anywhere. I would also suggest a couple of sun loungers would be good to enjoy the rare welsh sunshine we were lucky enough to have. Would any of this put me off recommending the hayloft - absolutely no. It is stunning.

The hayloft was absolutely lovely and complete met our expectations.. We stayed whilst storm ciara raged around us! There were a few leaks in the window frame that we informed the owners about, but they said it was the worst storm ever! Didnt get to use the hot tub due to the storm either. The welcome hamper was a nice touch and the cake was amazing!

Stunning views !!! Beautiful house, very clean, warm and cosy. Bedrooms comfortable and spacious. Kitchen well equipped, we all loved the water/Ice machine. The open plan downstairs was perfect for a family like ours wanting to spend time together. Plenty of towels including separate ones for the hot tub which was great !! The welcome pack was a lovely touch and the lemon drizzle cake was superb !! We will definitely recommend... in fact we have already and our friends have made booking to visit in April.

We loved our visit, this this the second NEw year stay for us and we loved it.. The home made lemon drizzle cake and welcome basket is a lovely touch. Matt and melissa just can’t do enough for you nothing is too much trouble. It’s a lovely quiet comfortable stay, our little ones loved playing out on the driveway on Their scoter and Go Carts too. The hot tub kept the older ones entertained too :)

What can I say about this gorgeous barn conversion we were 10 adults on a birthday weekend the weather let us down but we hardly noticed the barn is so very spacious there was everything there you could want or need , it was far away from the farm house as not to disturb one another the owners are so very lovely leaving a welcome hamper for us which went down a treat .. It was very clean and warm , the hot tub was used all weekend even in the rain if your looking for somewhere away from it all then this is the place to go be aware that it is a drive away to shops pubs etc but we stocked up on the way . I cannot praise the place and the owners enough and we certainly intend to make a return visit .

The Hayloft exceeded our expectations for our stay.. The house was absolutely stunning and plenty of space for our party to relax and enjoy our time there. The hot tub was a great bonus for us all to relax in and the beautiful views surrounding the house. The owners were extremely helpful and were there within 5 minutes of any problems that needed help with. I would highly recommend the Hayloft to anybody that is looking for a weekend away in the beautiful welsh countryside. Definitley booking again with Matthew and Melissa soon.

We cannot explain how much we all fell in love with the Hayloft, the barn itself is beautiful and is surrounded by the most gorgeous views.. Considering we visited in February and the temperatures outside were freezing, inside the barn was very warm and cosy. The hot tub was a great touch to an already amazing barn. Cannot wait to come back already.

We had a great family holiday here, The house itself is perfect, all you could want for a large family holiday plenty of room for the kids to run around and play. The hot tub was also well used!! The views were so beautiful. On arrival there was a lovely hamper with home made cakes and some refreshing drinks. The only things let really let down the stay was there seemed to be an infestation of flies - to be fair to the owners they did say they were awaiting pest control and had recently installed an insect light - however the pest control did not arrive whilst we were there. We bought about 20 fly strips during our stay which were full withing 24 hours of having put them up. Luckily for us the weather was perfect so we spent much of our time out side or out and about so was only really the evening that the flies bothered us. I would hope they have since had the pest control out to fix this issue. The only other thing was the water pressure - only one person or appliance could be used at anyone time... the shower literally stopped for 5 minutes after someone flushed the toilet . I would also recommend the owners invest in a BBQ for the summer months - with the garden space and views you really do want to be outside enjoy it! Other than those niggles it was a lovely stay! Food recommendations locally; The horse and Jockey in Knighton - we had a lovely Sunday roast The bush inn in Hereford- a little further a field but a must visit (picnic bench speciality) Google it! Enjoy!

The Hayloft is in a lovely location and has fabulous views, due to its design and setting.. The Hot tub was great to use. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable. It is bigger than it looks. The kitchen is well equipped. A welcome basket of Home made treats was a lovely touch. Matt the owner was helpful when we couldn’t sort things out. Because we were there in the heat wave and the Hayloft has a huge glass front, it was very very hot inside even after opening every door and window. Unfortunately that led to a fly invasion. Some fans might help in this heatwave Overall we had a good escape from life in a tranquil setting and would like to return

The owners were very friendly and welcoming.. We received a welcome basket with delicious homemade baking. Our children loved being able to go to the farm next door and hold the lambs. The farmer was brilliant, chatting to them about the lambing etc We visited the dam at Elan Valley, walked around Clee Hill where the views are incredible. We also went horse riding about 10 mins from the cottage. Great place! Lovely to always come home to a warm cottage with warm floors etc. All in all, a fantastic experience all round.

Very high standard and luxurious conversion. From the roll top bath, to the underfloor heating and the welcome hamper with the home made lemon drizzle cake. It was stunning. Everything is really well thought out and extremely comfortable and spacious, perfect for the kids to run around and tire out! Really is a credit to the owners and we can not wait to go back already! Friends of friends have already booked on our recommendation and we won't be long behind them! Only criticism is that the underfloor heating melted my Maltesers

Lovely place with amazing location.. Even the photos don’t do it justice. There is everything you could want at the property and the owners were on hand whenever we needed. Having the hot tub was a luxury, especially with the countryside views. Will be booking to come again soon!

This place is an experience in itself. The owners are great people and on hand if there are any problems - but there aren't any of note because they have thought everything through here - an expansive building which comfortably accommodated 11 of us, a luxurious hot tub which iin our case was enjoyed with deep snow all around, a Winter wonderland. This is a part of Wales we should all get to know better. Plenty of options for places to eat and visit locally. Can unequivocally recommend
