The Hare's Leap is a comfortable, detached cottage in the hamlet of Kinuary, County Mayo. Sleeping four people, this cottage has two bedrooms, a double and a twin, as well as a shower room. There is also a fitted kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with open fire. Outside, there is a lawned garden and off road parking for four cars. With great fishing and walking nearby, The Hare's Leap is ideal all year round.

The cottage was beautiful and very clean.. Denise, the owner's parents live opposite the cottage and were very friendly without being intrusive. We were happy that we could bring our little dog with us - there is also an outside kennel with a fenced-off secure area if your dog happens to be a bigger breed. Denise, the owner, rang us several times to make sure everything was o.k. and she had organised a cleaning-lady to come in while we were there This lady was just so friendly.. We would definitely go back to Hare's Leap and would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone.

There was nothing wrong with this holiday.. The owners were very friendly and attentive. My issue is with Sykes as a company. I made a complaint in July 2019 and even though I have followed up with 2 additional telephone calls with the customer services team I am STILL waiting for a response. On the 2 times I called I was told the person who was dealing with the complaint was on holiday!!!!! I have 2 holidays already booked through Sykes for 2020 but these will be the last. I will use a different company from hereon in.

Unfortunately there was a lot of black hairs around the rooms? from a dog it was fairly dusty, the electric meter ran out so not able to use shower/electric till owners dad arrived to put money into meter. The place was lacking with instruction on how to use equipment. We had to make do with some basic cooking utensil's. We were disappointed by this as we normally have obviously been spoilt by the high standard of cottages we have used with you over the years.

This was an exceptional cottage.. The owner was very friendly and the cottage was very comfortable and excellent value for money. Will definitely be booking this cottage again in the future.

Everything about our time here was wonderful. You will need transport as it would not be too close to public transport access but it was quiet, beautiful and you are given absolute privacy for your stay. Cosy and comfortable property that is perfect for seeing the stars at night. Can not recommend this property highly enough. I loved this so much that I have already booked next years trip.

The location, peace and quiet scenery and not that far to travel to town for shopping. Ideal for walking, pets and smoking welcomed. Nice people at hand but only if you need anything, they leave you be. Very, very clean throughout with good kitchen facilities.
