Perfect to enjoy the walking and cycling routes in the Dartmoor National Park with its open moorlands and rare wildlife.. 3 steps to entrance. All on the ground floor.

Bathroom: With shower over bath, toilet and tiled floor.. Gas central heating. Small, lawned garden with veranda, sitting-out area and garden furniture. Please note: There are 3 steps in the garden.. All properties: Electricity by £1 meter, bed linen and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Bath seat available on request. Utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer (coin operated, shared with other apartments on-site). Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. Bay Tree House is ideally located in a tree-lined avenue overlooking Torre Valley Park. These 6 pretty holiday apartments (ref UKC2602, UKC2603, UKC2604, UKC2605, UKC2606 and UKC2607) are the perfect choice for couples and small families to enjoy a seaside holiday on the English Riviera. Cream tea will be provided during the summer between July and August.
Just 400 yards walk to the seafront with its glorious beaches and wide selection of cafés, restaurants, shops and entertainment. Torre Abbey, with its tea rooms, ancient abbey ruins and splendid gardens is just a short level stroll away and The English Riviera Centre with its indoor swimming pool, seasonal shows, conference centre and cinema, is also close by. Within their grounds you can enjoy tennis courts, pitch and putt and even a balloon ride whilst soaking up the outstanding views of Torbay. Or why not visit The Princess Theatre with its many exciting shows. Swimming and beaches can be found along the 22 miles of the English Riviera coastline, where there are 20 beaches that range from wide sandy stretches to hidden rocky coves. Boat trips in the bay are bookable from the harbour side and piers, and small boats and pedaloes can be hired from most beaches.
There are miles of walks including along the South West Coastal Path, throughout Dartmoor National Park and riverside walks. The Royal Torbay Yacht Club is at Beacon Terrace, a short walk away, and for those wishing to learn more, there are two sailing clubs in Torquay. Sea fishing is available from Princess Pier and Haldon Pier, or from beaches along the coastline. There is a beautifully situated 18-hole course at Torquay Golf Club. Further afield, you can ramble across the wilds of Dartmoor National Park, see the Dartmoor ponies and visit places of interest such as Widdecombe. Totnes and Dartington Hall are less than 30 minutes away. Totnes is an Elizabethan river town with an ancient castle, and Dartington Hall has glorious gardens and world famous arts and music activities, making this an essential place to visit. Dartmouth, Dartmoor, Salcombe, Exeter and Plymouth can all be easily reached. Paignton Zoo is only a mile away and there are river and sea cruises and steam train trips nearby. South Hams has some of the most beautiful beaches in the area. Walking, cycling, golf, horse riding, fishing, surfing and sailing are all available in this stunning area, and there are many National Trust properties to explore nearby. This is a stunning location that has something for everyone and where holiday memories will be made. Beach ½ mile. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
