Set in an exclusive lakeside resort, this deluxe apartment is on the outskirts of Orlando. You can spot Sea World’s fireworks from your terrace and it’s just a twenty-minute drive to Disney World for family days out, and fifteen minutes to Universal Studios. Within the resort itself, you’re footsteps from the huge shared swimming pool lined with loungers. The clubhouse can provide meals and drinks and there are myriad playgrounds and spots courts for active days.

The open-plan living area is stylish and sociable, with a granite breakfast bar separating the kitchen and providing plenty of prep space. Big windows flood the plush lounge with natural light and there’s a second seating area in the family snug, so the group can easily spread out. Our favourite spot has to be the private terrace which overlooks the lake so you can settle in to one of the comfy chairs with a cold drink and watch the ducks paddle by.
