Beautiful, well equipped and cosy cottage in an idyllic rural setting.. 10 minutes walk to country pub which also served delicious food. Within easy reach of the coast and some lovely market towns. Hosts were extremely helpful yet unobtrusive. The hot tub was a lovely bonus. Overall we had an amazing week at The Cottage and hope to plan a return visit soon.

Warm welcome.. Clean, warm and comfortable cottage ideally located for visiting the east coast. Hot tub is spacious and despite Storm Dennis we managed to relax in daily after lots of walking. We left a pair of walking boots and owners contacted us to arrange collection - thanks.

Absolutely amazing hosts, couldn't be more helpful.. Wonderful people. Myself, the children and my pomeranian Bear had a great time. The cottage was cosy, clean and well equipped. The hottub was fun, well placed and a great added extra. The fire brung a real cosyness and the selection of games and dvds went down well with the children. We cooked every night and didnt fail to find anything we needed for food preparation. The kitchen had everything. We visited Scarborough, York, Filey, Bridlington and had some lovely scenic drives. 10/10 Best cottage we have ever stayed in :)

We loved our stay at the cottage.. It was immaculately presented, very clean and had everything you would need for a stress free getaway (including a baby monitor so we could enjoy the hot tub while our little man was in bed). It is also a really nice location with lots of places to visit only a short drive away. The owners were also really nice and helpful. Would definitely visit again :)

The owners were extremely friendly and helpful.. They were on hand to suggest day trips and offer advice on places of interest. They were also quick to react to our wasp problem and solved our issues straight away. They made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The area offered the perfect holiday for our family with our favourite place to visit being Fraisthorpe Beach.

The Cottage was absolutely fantastic.. The owners were very nice and explained how to use things on our arrival. The Cottage is very well equipped, and a bit like home from home....The only difference is, at home I don't have a hot tub, which was absolutely incredible. I would definitely recommend this place, and would love to go back again. Our dog loved the massive ( extremely well kept) back garden. It is so quiet and peaceful, lovely to hear birds chirping. Great place to stop, and isn't far from different attractions, depending on what you want to see. Definitely 5 stars from me and my family.

Fantastic holiday! The cottage was cozy and quiet and the hot tub was a real treat! Just 20 mins drive from Bridlington and 10 from the quaint little town of Driffield. Kilham village itself is very pretty but the pubs only open in the evening and very expensive. The little shop had everything you need but is also very pricey. Tim and Pam are great hosts and happy to help with any enquiries you have whilst also allowing you your privacy. Lovely holiday and hope to go back!

Have just spent a relaxing week at the Cottage. The hot tub is ideally positioned for star gazing and equally lovely in the afternoon sunshine. Well equipped and such comfortable beds we all slept well including the dog in front of the glowing embers of the log burner! Great pint of Sleck Dust at the Bay Horse which is a short walk from the cottage. Places to visit Whitby, RSPB Bempton not any Puffins but plenty of Gannets and Kittiwakes! Beautiful location.

After coming to The Cottage in 2014 we had to come back again this year and will definitely be back again in 2016! Tim and Pay are extremely welcoming, the cottage is clean, cosy and beautifully appointed. The log fire is magical - our black lab loves chilling in front of it!... and the hot tub... amazing!!! Incredibly relaxing! Especially on a cold dark night... We love it here it's a real hidden gem and we highly recommend... You won't be disappointed!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The owners were really friendly and the house was just right for us, there was enough space and we didn't feel on top of each other. A great central location for Bridlington and Scarborough. We really did enjoy our weekend, wish we could have stayed longer. The hot tub was definitely the icing on the cake!

Delightful cottage, beautifully presented and surrounded by farmland. Very peaceful, rural area but good road access for days out. Facilities excellent, beds incredibly comfortable and whole place spotlessly clean. Great place for holiday, would highly recommend.

An excellent property in an excellent location. The hot tub was an added bonus. The owners (who live next door) were friendly and helpful, and pubs in the village are both dog friendly too.

The owner of the cottage lives next door, they were friendly chatty people who'll do anything to help out. The cottage was a good size compared to several stayed at in the past. It was decorated to a good standard and was very comfortable. The hot tub was a terrific bonus, a soak in the evening was very relaxing. In a good location, felt quite central for places to visit, in a rural location but not too far from anywhere.

This cottage has everything you need for that home from home comfort. The owners are very friendly and accommodating and have this cottage perfect for a quiet, relaxing break away. The hot tub is absolutely fantastic, especially at night under the stars, then back inside to the wood burning fire! Stroll into the village and there are a couple of pubs serving food, or the coastline is a 15 minute drive away. I would highly recommend to anyone.

The owners were extremely pleasant and provided good Information about the local area. The setting is fairly central for exploring the coast and the East Riding and there were plenty of good pubs scattered about the area offering good food and beer.

August 2014
This property is ideally situated to reach seaside, major city/town or country activities. Bridlington is an easy 10-15 minute drive away. The Cottage is very nicely furnished laid out, and had a nice comfortable lounge area. The owners (who live next door) were very friendly and helpful. The hot tub is brilliant and an ideal way to relax later in the day. There are two great village pubs offering excellent food at reasonable prices, within easy walking distance, and the location is nice and quiet. A great base to go out for the days, but also a nice place to relax in the evenings if you want to. I would recommend this property without hesitation.

I think the owners of this property have done a really good job! The house is clean, tidy and smart. A real country cottage. The local attractions are Bridlington and Scarborough, both of which have amazing beaches. York is not far either. The hot tub is very spacious, and is great fun. This is a very peaceful, lovely cottage, and is perfect for a romantic break. I would recommend staying at the cottage.

The Cottage was very well equipped, clean and very nicely decorated. We found it a surprisingly warm cottage and very comfortable. The owners had thought of everything we could have needed and more in the living room cupboard there was a good selection of dvd's and children's games and toys as well as a drawer that seemed to have more local tourist information that the local tourist information office. The cottage is in a great location on the edge of the village overlooking fields a short drive away from both Bridlington and Driffield. we would definitely visit again.
