A perfect cottage to stay in - very comfortable, cosy and with all the facilities we wanted.. Loved the garden. The owners were lovely and made us and our dogs very welcome. The area is outstandingly beautiful. I thoroughly recommend The Cottage and the area. In fact we've already booked to stay for two weeks next year,

It was exactly what we hoped it would be, a cottage on a farm, off the beaten track.. The cottage had everything we needed in it, a short drive to the nearest town and easy to get to places from. We had a great time

The cottage was very cosy and the wood burner very welcome.. It was good to have access to secure areas on the farm for the dog to be off lead. The owners were very welcoming. The locality was ideal for touring around Dartmoor villages and great walks. The constant hot water was very welcome - the only slight negative being that the pressure was too low for the hand held (non electric) shower.

This was a lovely country cottage, very cosy with the log burner going.. A very quiet location even though it’s next to a lane, which very few cars use. The owners were very friendly & helpful & let us use one of their fields for walking our dog. An ideal location to explore Dartmoor

This cottage was absolutely lovely, with typical country furniture in a very good shape and an oven which we fired every evening.. Very quite, but a bit lonely. You always have to use your car for everything you need. But you are allowed to take vegetables from the garden (very nice).

I am a bit wary of cottages with the owners living next-door, but in this case they are such interesting and lovely people that it was a bonus.. The cottage, its setting, location etc. are all excellent. Two minor positives I think are also worthy of mention - 1.) The fridge has a small freezer compartment. This was great in that it meant I did not have to go off in search of fresh fish / meat every couple of days. 2.) the DVD is actually a Blu-ray player. The first I have seen in a holiday cottage.

Everything has been perfect.. The house was cozy. The owner was lovely and very helpful. I could phone the agency and actually speak to someone and they were very friendly.

Christine and Martin were wonderful hosts, I had some of the best days of my life staying the cottage and being allowed to help with the new mums and lambs on the farm and so did my children.. Many thanks.
