I have to say this is a wonderful kitted out cottage, nothing was forgotten everything you need home from home made it so much easier.. (Dishwasher tablets, washer dryer, clothes airer, dvds , dvd player, 3 TVs fab, washing up liquid, everything g you need). The cottage is so beautiful and furnished to a very high standard, spotlessly clean. Very quiet and friendly owners, who left fruit, milk tea and coffee, fab you can roam the fields which the kids loved. Lots of private parking. Plenty big enough for 4. Easy drive to get to the town and beach. Definitely if your coming to the area would recommend I'm sure we will be back, we've stayed in holiday homes before but this one has beaten them all. Fantastic.

Highly recommend The Cider Barn.. Spotlessly clean, very well equipped and situated in a perfect spot. Very peaceful yet only a very short drive to explore the South Coast of Devon. A superb first trip to Devon, couldn't of asked for more!

The owners, Phil and Julie were fantastic and nothing was any bother to them.. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a family holiday. We were fortunate to have excellent weather so many happy hours were spent by our two great grandchildren (ages 3 & 2) exploring the farmland and seeing the animals. It would be our intention to return to Devon sometime in the near future and the Cider Barn will be top of our list when looking for accommodation. Robin, June, Oscar and Layla. Northern Ireland.

Quarter mile Single track access lane to property may put some people off.. It's maintained in good order but there are few passing places when meeting other traffic which in our case we never experienced.

Extremely welcoming hosts.. Friendly but not intrusive. Good facilities in the cottage. The owners suggested places to eat and places to go which was very useful. Highly recommend this property. Shame the weather was a bit dismal.

This has to be one of the best cottages we have stayed in.. The cottage was beautiful, clean and cosy with everything needed for a stay. The outside space with table and chairs would be lovely in the summer and parking was good. The owner's were welcoming and friendly without being intrusive even going as far as to phone us to say that the main road was closed due to an accident but to ignore the signs because the accident was beyond the entrance to the cottage. We hope to return. We are used to one lane roads but a warning in the info of the one lane road with bends leading from the main road to the cottage might be helpful to someone who isn't aware of how they work and what to do if you meet someone coming the opposite way.
