The high ceiling and fireplace in the living room give it an authentic period feel, and an eclectic mix of modern and vintage furniture keeps everything on-trend. We love the room's triple aspect, overlooking the lawns, the deck and the drive. There's a practical and homey kitchen and two quiet, calm main bedrooms – a third can be used as a bedroom, a study or an upstairs snug.

The chances are you'll be coming here to enjoy some time in the great outdoors, and here it's a pleasure to sit out on the deck – either on the sun loungers, the Adirondack chairs or at the outdoor dining table.
