The Bothy, a single-storey annexe, consists of a kitchen/diner with dining seating for one, fridge, microwave, 2-ring electric hob, kettle, as well as a woodburning stove. The bedroom is a double. There is a shower room with a walk-in shower, basin, WC, and portable sink. WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is a private non-enclosed front garden with patio, furniture, shared non-enclosed rear garden with lawn and furniture, and off-road parking for two cars. Two well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. You'll find a shop in 0.7 miles, and pub in 0.8 miles. Enjoy a refreshing break with your loved one at The Bothy. Note: There is just cold water from the tap - hot water is available from the kettle in the main room or the electric shower. This is a peaceful family area, so guests are requested to keep noise to a minimum.

Horwich is a bustling town resting between Rivington and Bolton, set within the Metropolitan Borough of Bolton. Renowned for its input in the textile industry, along with its span of countryside land, perfect for the hunting chase, the town has since experienced regeneration, especially across education and sporting grounds. Visitors can enjoy a diverse mix of attractions whilst passing through Horwich, from tours of Horwich Heritage Centre, and live sporting events at the University of Bolton Stadium, the home ground for Bolton Wanderers F.C., to its 9-hole golf course, and walking routes across Tigers Clough. Dining options include Nick’s Restaurant and Il Toro, whilst the essentials can be purchased at several convenience stores. Just outside of the town is Bolton, a significant town in the Northwest, where you can find further attractions to fill your itinerary, including Bolton Steam Museum, Seven Acres Country Park, and Moses Gate Country Park. Horwich is a wonderful base to explore the Northwest of England.
