Lugano is just nineteen minutes away by car. Known as the Monte Carlo of Switzerland, Lugano boasts incredible views and a laid-back vibe – perfect for a holiday. You’ll probably spend most of your time on the shores of the glacial lake, stopping for coffee or enjoying alfresco meals while taking in the scenery. Riding the funicular railway is a great way to spend an afternoon, and the views are amazing.

For a day at the beach, drive just ten minutes to the grassy Lido San Domenico. Laze in the sunshine on the lake’s shore, sip chilled drinks, and feel your worries melt away.
