The weather this year (2018) in Cornwall certainly made a huge difference.. However, the Blue House was clean, with good facilities and very comfortable. We enjoyed eating out on the veranda looking out to the coast. The local property manager was very helpful and organised cleaning and bedding changes with us. Everything you want from a holiday cottage. Tintagel was a good base with small supermarkets, restaurants and takeaway food at hand and there are plenty of walks you can do from the cottage, we visited the tidal beach at Trebarwith which is lovely.

Great location having stayed here twice speaks for itself.. My only comment would be it’s a shame that no pets are allowed, would be more than happy to pay a premium for this service and I’m certain others would also.

This is a good cottage in the perfect location within Tintagel - very central but also away from "street noise".. As others have said it is a little smaller than expected and the living space would be very cramped if fully occupied, but was good for two! The table has to be moved to sit at and then moved again to see the TV. As others have also said the WiFi is excellent and we were glad that we brought a laptop with us for iPlayer etc. as the TV reception was poor and failed during our stay. The owners arranged for a repair very swiftly when we contacted them though. It was good to have cleaning and washing products (washing-up liquid, dishwasher tablets etc.) provided. And there aren't two bathrooms Sykes - only one plus an upstairs toilet.

Unless the following are put right - avoid this house !!! No oven instructions. Fan in bathroom constantly on when 'fixed' it didn't work at all. No lock on upper toilet door. Kitchen taps the wrong way round (illegal) so could lead to scalding. One shower head not working when water turned on it flips down towards floor. Downstairs loo seat very loose. Front door doesn't close without lifting handle to let locks out. Boiler broke twice in one week so no hot water. Bathroom paint 'flakey' as wrong paint used

Tintagel is very hussle and bussle during the day, but at night very quiet.. There is only room for 1 car (which was stated in the details) but to help people out with 2 cars (rather than chasing round for change to pay at a NCP carpark which is unsecured), the field next to the cottage charges £10 for the week if you pay the farmer who owns the King Arthur museum up the road. We were told about this from a neighbour next to the blue house

Lovely property, altho a little smaller than expected.. Great contact from the owners. Amazing location, and great kitchen facilities. Awesome wifi, got the thumbs up from our teenager! Even better would be a proper washing line (not under the balcony) as I couldn't get clothes dry, and some seating in the garden downstairs would have been really good too.
