Stayed for a weekend. Lovely house very clean, spacious , modern and great location. Nice walk to the town on the prom. Located just behind Dylan’s restaurant so easy walking for food. Train line outside but not regular or noisy. Great large hot tub. Only downside was our evacuation due to level carbon monoxide which caused the alarm going off due to the log fire. Owner didn’t attend but the fire services did and were very helpful. Thank goodness for the alarm!! Owner did send out the log fire fitter to check on the Saturday he said it was fine. We did read a comment in the guest book from two weeks previous that there was an issue with the fire when they stayed.

Booked the Beach-House for a week in the half term for a family getaway and we have not been disappointed. The property is well maintained and has all the amenities you could need in a holiday rental property. The views across the bay from the garden are lovely and the property is packed with things for the kids to do from the toy cupboard to the large double garage which is kitted out as a den complete with table football there is also a baby carrier as well if you need to go on walks with smaller kids, came in handy visiting the Castle with our 2 year old. The kids loved the large garden with slides and swings and there is good wi-fi as well for the older kids as well as Netflix on the TV. Really nice well appointed property in a quiet area with lovely views, hot tub and plenty of things to keep kids busy.

This cottage is even more beautiful than the pictures convey, and the owners had thought of everything you could possibly need and provided it.. Waking up in the plush master bedroom, walking out into the garden, looking out over the sea and listening to the birds was a dream; only rivaled by sitting in the hot tub in an evening watching the stars and having a drink. We adored our stay at the Beach House and are aching to go back already.

Lovely place to be in any weather, use the Cambrian Railway Line to visit Harlech, Barmouth, Tywyn.. The line’s ranger ticket is great value, or small group ticket. The Welsh Highland Railway or Ffestiniog make great all weather days. Plenty to see locally to the house and what a great house it was also! We had seven adults, the king size ground floor en-suite was great for our parents. I especially chose this house for its proximity and largely flat access to the promenade and beach. This made the wheelchair easy for dad. Then there’s the lovely view from the house! It’s a lovely quiet street so we enjoyed not being disturb-ing/ed. Great facilities in the house and garden- highly recommend this place .

A lovely house in a great location a stones throw from the sea front.. Well thought out with everything you could need to hand. Had the added bonus of 4 days of summer style weather in February which we really weren’t expecting.

We booked this property for the Christmas period through Sykes Cottages. We wanted to have Christmas with family members who live in Wales and this seemed the perfect location, we were not disappointed! The property is very spacious and felt very homely for a rental. The Christmas decorations were up complete with tree. The owners of this property seem to have thought of almost everything, because everything that a family might need on holiday is there. The rooms are all well decorated and the beach theme goes right through the property and on arrival the house was very clean, something we were worried about with the mother in law having ocd about cleanliness, even she was impressed! The views from the rear of the house are gorgeous with the beach and the castle, and being less than 5 minutes stroll to the sea front and nearby restaurant, the location is ideal for families. The hot tub is located in a private area of the garden, but there are no outside lights in the vicinity, which is probably the only downside we can think of for the property. We would have no hesitation in recommending this house to friends and family and will probably stay again ourselves. All in all a lovely Christmas break.

This lovely holiday home fully met the needs of our family of 9.. We had 6 adults, two boys aged 8 & 9 and a baby aged 1. It is a well thought out holiday home which had everything we needed. The kitchen was so well equipped which helped with the so important family meals together. The living and dining room was lovely and really spacious. The big garden with hot tub has a well furnished patio area and was also fully equipped with swings and slides for the children. We absolutely loved the downstairs bedroom with en-suite, perfect for nanny and bampi. The upstairs bedrooms and bathroom were perfect for meeting the needs of two couples and their children. The garage was also fully equipped like a toy room for rainy days. Everything that we needed was there (even picnic bags) The beach was less than five minutes walk away which the kids loved. It is the perfect base for exploring this part of Wales

This outstanding property is in a quiet road within 400 yards of the beach and easy walking distance of a range of restaurants and shops. The house is FULLY equipped for adults and children and offers superb views across the bay and the castle. It is more than large enough for the 10 beds and is furnished and decorated to an exceptionally high standard for a rental property. There were plenty of toys hidden in the cupboards for the younger members, with books, CD's and several TVs for the adults. The garage proved to be a a treasure trove of larger toys. The kitchen was fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, full size fridge with a freezer in the garage. More than enough crockery and kitchen utensils for 10 people. Simple discrete and appropriate notices around the house make moving in easy. Fair internet access 23Mb/s down - 0.2Mb/s upload wifi is available throughout the house from the router in the entrance hall. Easy access parking for 3-4 cars was a significant feature of the property in a town with crowded parking at peak periods. The nearby train line was not a problem with infrequent and relatively quiet trains. The Blue China Tea Room / associated restaurant next door and Poachers Restaurants proved helpful and flexible when dealing with our party of 10 offering customised gluten free options. Poachers (more expensive-reservations essential) was a special birthday event. 40 minutes to the Snowdon Railway and 30 minutes to the Rhyd-Ddu path give a range of options for a mountain climb!

The property is ideally situated in a very quiet road about 400 yards from the beach and within easy walking distance to shops and several restaurants.. The garage was superbly equipped with toys for all ages! The sea view from the upstairs windows covering the estuary, sea, hills and castle was picture postcard material. The grandchildren were particularly enthusiastic about their bunk bed room with its nautical theme and unique lighting scheme. The house was beautifully decorated and very well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, full height fridge, and extra freezer in the garage. More than enough cutlery and dishes. The colourful and well maintained rear garden with its hot tub and lawn provided an excellent two level enclosed play or relaxation area Furnishings had been thoughtfully chosen and complemented with interesting lighting schemes. The single track railway line at the bottom of the garden was not a problem and never a noise nuisance. More than adequate parking for 3/4 cars. The main bedroom and with ensuite shower and bath provided a superb and large escape area for grandparents. Multiple televisions around the house were largely unused as there was too much to do! The house more than met its claim to be a ten person unit. We felt that this was a superb beautifully presented home where the owners had completed a total make-over and simply left it to us to enjoy.

Amazing location and the cottage it's self is beautiful.. We stayed in The beach House for 2 weeks and could have easily stayed longer. The cottage easily accommodated 10 of us and we had the most spectacular time. The kids loved the garden and garage which was equipped with things to keep them amused. The surrounding area has lots to offer great beaches, castles, boat rides, parks the list is endless. You can do as much or as little as you desire.

What a lovely holiday home.. It was set in an ideal location, 5mins walk to the sea and near a wonderful restaurant, Dylan’s. Perfect if you don’t want to cook. But also close enough to the shops if you did wanted to pick up bits and bobs. Lots to do in the area. We will definitely be going back there.

We were a family of 7, aged between 2 and 74.. The Beach House had plenty of space, very clean, with lovely décor. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. The garage had lots of toys we were allowed to borrow, which our children loved. The garden was very family friendly. It was enclosed and safe for the children. It had a lovely seating area and patio for the oldies to read the paper and the views over the mini golf, sea and over to the castle were lovely. Views fabulous from all windows. It was a fantastic base for the holiday, giving us easy access to exploring the surrounding area, but also a lovely house to spend time in, when the weather was very wet. Thank you to the owners, we had a lovely time.

It did help that we fell good with the weather as It was absolutely glorious whilst we were in Criccieth last week.. The house accommodated all of us very well and lots of little extras where included which made the holiday even more enjoyable. If we had forgotten anything It was all there in the house. Games for the grandchildren. Chalk board and little set of table and chairs where a really good addition to the house. Extra freezer in the garage if you needed one. All sitting in the hot tub one evening with the sea over our shoulder was fabulous . The owners have thought of everything.

The pictures and description of this property fell short of how lovely this property was in reality.. Both in location, so near the beach and the town centre, and it's wonderful views. It is within easy walking distance of all the town has to offer from a Dylands restaurant just around the corner with its friendly staff to plenty of good cafes just a short stroll away. The local butchers and bakers are not to be missed either. The property has plenty of room and is full of all necessary essentials to make sure all ages have a wonderful holiday.

A beautiful, comfortable, and well-equipped home.. Great views, metres from the beach, and an easy drive to all the sights of Snowdonia. Attentive owners. Could not recommend more, especially for those with kids!
