A lovely cottage, in a good location.. The only problem was that the mattress on the double bed could do with replacing. The springs could be felt whichever way you lay

Lovely cottage, very welcoming, clean and well equipped.. We have used Sykes several times. Your listings and info are fine but customer service isn’t always the best. We’ve found Sykes to be lacking in taking any responsibility in the past, hence the 5 rating. During recent bad weather there was some appalling feedback

Had we been a party of 8 (we were not), the dining area and inclusion of only one shower would have been insufficient..

We spent an amazing half term week at Auld Tyndrum .. It is a beautiful cottage in a stunning location. It is our first time in Scotland and we will definitely be returning to Scotland and Auld Tyndrum . The owner has been excellent in communicating both prior to and after our stay.

The cottage was in an ideal location.. 2 streams bordered part of the garden and the burbling sound of the water was very soothing. The views were spectacular especially as the mountains were snow covered and sparkled in the sunlight. The rooms were tastefully furnished and the bedrooms comfortable. the kitchen was well kitted out and spacious. It was a treat to sit near the wood burning stove in the cold evenings I can thoroughly recommend this location for anyone who either likes to go hill walking or just relaxing. The owner is friendly and fulfilled the requests we asked him.
