Really beautiful area, lots of interesting places to visit and many lovely walks.. Cottage has a great view down the valley to the River Dee but is not too far from Llangolllen or go up the lane at the back and you are in the hills. Cottage has all the facilities needed and but mixed with the feel of home vintage style.

Everything a bit dated - but does that matter? The only actual criticism would be that when heating was on there was smell of oil? from the boiler throughout the kitchen area.

Lovely cottage in a lovely scenic area.. Very quiet and peaceful. Never saw or heard a soul while we were in. Cottage was clean and cosy. Only odd thing about it was that every drawer and cupboard was filled with years and years worth of 'stuff'. A holiday cottage needs just the basics plus whatever decorative items are left to make the place look and feel nice. You don't really want to see 50 years of someone elses clutter. No holidaymaker is going to use all of the old, mismatched cutlery, crockey, pans and utensils in the kitchen so why not pare it down to one nice set of the essential stuff. Other than that minor observation we had a great stay. Lovely to see all the birds in the garden each morning too.

Very comfortable cottage in a quiet location not far from LLangollen and its facilities.. Cottage has lovely views over the River Dee and there is plenty of walking in the area plus canal rides and not forgetting the steam train in the valley. We will book again!
