We have had a lovely break at this delightful fisherman’s cottage. The place was very clean and tidy and thank you for the welcome box and also fresh flowers. This was a very nice gesture and much appreciated. Very close to the town centre shops and restaurants. Parking was an absolute nightmare around the cottage and the car parks charges were very expensive, so we took the advice of a previous guest and booked a parking space through ‘Justpark’ in Saddleton Road, about a ten minute walk from the cottage and half the price of the car parks, Would suggest anyone staying at the cottage consider doing this.

Lovely cosy cottage, perfect for a romantic weekend.. Close to high street with wide range of shops, pubs and restaurants. Only down points were the parking around property, although it is free it is very sparse, making it difficult to park close to cottage and it was initially tricky to find the cottage as directions were not clear to look for alley way and the entrance gate to alley is pinned open so sign with cottage number is not visable from the road.

The towels supplied were very old & thin.. There were 2 hand towels & 2 small bath towels. We spoke to Eileen who told us there were beach towels in a chest in the bedroom. We used these as they were newer although they were the same size & still too small. We could also hear noise in the lounge from the micro brewery behind the cottage (shared back wall) & also hear people actually using the toilet which was rather disconserting.

The cottage was very comfortable and quaint.. However the parking there is a nightmare we were very lucky during the week but it could have easily been much worse. Whitstable lovely place to visit.

It was a quirky cottage right in the heart of Whitstable.. Directions were not too clear as the property is behind another in a road with no name plate, even one of the locals didn't know it was there! Everything was on our door step with plenty see, do and eat!

It was a charming, cosy cottage close to the heart of Whitstable in Kent.. The cottage was well stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay and came with an added treat - a free drink at the neighbourly Handsome Sam micro brewery just round the corner - you can't get a better introduction to the gorgeous community of Whitstable. We enjoyed our stay so much we will definitely be returning soon.

What a lovely little cottage in a great location.. Everything was there to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Couldn’t have been better located for us. A very pleasant walk down the high street with all the boutique shops and restaurants to the harbour. Would definitely recommend!

Customer service were brilliant at helping me make my booking after having difficulties placing my booking online.. The cottage is beautifully well maintained and continues to keep many original features. Very clean throughout. Also a gorgeous little garden with patio table and chairs which was lovely to sit out in with one of the many books the cottage keeps, along with dvds, to borrow during your stay. Many thoughtful welcome touches such as milk, tea and coffee were great after a long journey down. The landlord and property management were very quick at getting back in touch via phone.

Cottage was fine, but outdoor area awful, 3 overflowing wheelie bins, garden untidy, overgrown, and impossible to sit in, due to rubbish that obviously should have been removed, a small garden, but hat not the issue would not take much to keep on top of it.. Yes after our previous experiences definitely disappointed and one of our most expensive, I have photos if you require them

You neglected to mention the bedroom is seperated from micro brewery/pub by a very thin wall, the noise goes on till midnight on fri/sat/sunday.. the tv picture starts to scramble after a short time. the sofa is at right angles to tv and very unconfortable. the garden could be pretty if not overgrown with weeds.

Great location, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, homely feeling.. Busy weekend destination for sea food lovers, nice local restaurants and bars. Lots of pleasant walking trails on door step. Parking could be restrictive, although we were lucky enough to find a spot each day, by parking mid-afternoon.
