Cottage on the whole is well presented and the barn conversion is very well done.. One niggle is that the patio is accessed through the second bedroom. The cottage was like an oven when we arrived, turning down the underfloor heating takes a long time to have any effect, so the first night was very uncomfortable in the en-suite bedroom.
Was annoyed on check-in (at the holiday camp a mile away from the cottage) to be expected to sign away £50 against damages, to find damaged furniture and window blinds when we got to the cottage. When I booked this deposit wasn't shown on the website, though I see it is now. Never been asked to do this at any other cottage. More than a week after leaving and I'm still waiting for the credit refund.
Finally, the stair carpet is worn and can be slippery in the wrong shoes, as I found out to my cost.
