A very nice place to stay.. Clean, tidy good facilities with a large comfy bed and a proper shower! Off street parking with good access, and a good location to everything Yorkshire has to offer nearby. I would not hesitate to stay here again ideal for a couple.

We have had a good number of holidays with Sykes and find the properties to be reasonably priced and of good quality.. Any difficulties have always been rectified in an efficient and professional manner.

Lovely comfortable cottage, nice shower, comfortable bed, big downstairs room with kitchen, dining room and lounge in, quiet location in the village, when we got arrived there was milk in the fridge, teabags, coffee, sugar and a lovely lemon drizzle cake.. It was lovely to go out for the day and come back home to a nice warm cottage. The location was good for going to lots of places as the A19 was close. The owner was nice and helpful, there was parking by the cottage door. I would be glad to stay there again.

Comfortable, peaceful and well appointed cottage in a location which is central for exploring the eastern Dales, North Yorkshire moors, Vleveden Way and the surrounding historic villages and towns.. Also interesting sites like Castle Howard, Nunnington Hall nearby with Fountains Abbey and Bolton Abbey within reasonable driving distance. With fast Wi-Fi and a smart TV. Would highly recommend this cottage for a relaxing holiday.

We liked the freedom to organise visits to nearby places of interest.. We also like being able to have our normal cereal type breakfast and not having a large cooked breakfast as one is faced with in B&B or hotel accommodation. We will definitely be going on cottage type holidays in the future. The cottage is comfortable and very clean and the lovely lemon drizzle cake provided by Sue Benn was much appreciated.
