Very quiet bungalow, not to far from shops..

A homely holiday property, with a lovely conservatory and large garden..

It was a very retro bungalow insomuch as it actually felt like you were living in someone's active home twenty years ago.. Very 80s-90s feel and very cosy with a great atmosphere and fantastic garden. The bungalow is in an excellent position for everything to be within a 15 minute walk or two minute drive including the town centre and beach but very quiet road tucked away from everything. We all enjoyed it.

All the facilities we needed.. The house is a little outdated, but was clean and comfortable. We all commented on how "at home" we felt. It's a bit of a walk into town but this means the area is very quiet, which was perfect for us. The garden is huge and it would be a wonderful space to use in the summer, although we did spent some time in the conservatory (heated) so it was almost like being in the garden. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and would definitely come back in the future.

Bungalow is spacious and is well set up.. Extensive range of kitchen appliances and utensils. Beds and sofas are all comfy. Extremely warm property. Shower is great. Spacious large garden that is completely secure so great for dogs and kids. Large sky tv with extensive range of channels. (not that I needed it but there is not a 2nd tv as described). Great conservatory. Well placed in a quiet area of Weymouth and easy access by car to the town centre and supermarkets. Great RSPB Radipole nearby (easily view marsh harriers). Highly recommend as a perfect place to stay and to explore the south coast. Such as Durdle door, Lulworth cove, Dorchester, Abbotsbury sub tropical gardens, Chesil beach, Portland bill and Lyme Regis. Lulworth cove inn has fantastic food in a great setting and allows dogs. Nothe tavern in Weymouth (up towards nothe fort and has car park opposite) has amazing food (or just a drink) and they really make a fuss of your dog (and Biscuits). Try the fish and chips at Pulpit inn on Portland Bill, it is huge, plus they allows dogs. Great property to stay at and lovely place to explore. All of it exceeded my expectations!!!!!!!!!

We found this a very comfortable bungalow within easy walking distance of Weymouth town, mostly on cycle paths.. it was freshly cleaned and is very well equipped. There is WiFi and two flat screen TV's, one with Sky. The furnishings are a little dated but fine, but the carpets could do with renewing. There is a small conservatory and a large garden ideal for children or dogs. Would book again.

Sunny gardens was real disappointment.. Grubby and dated . Feedback in visitor book says the owners don’t wish to update it and that is their choice but it is not in suitable condition to be rented out . Crockery and cutlery were not clean. Carpets were frankly disgusting and sluice in the lounge was greasy and dirty . This was dead my husbands only holiday this year and we feel it was a waste of our hard earned money . Very poor and worse not clean . Windows don’t close properly in the lounge and were filthy . would hope that your people would inspect properties before they are rented . If not this needs some attention . Disgusting

I struggled with booking online so called and had a wonderful service from the advisor who listened to what I wanted and I had a mini break booked .. The location was brilliant for us ( 2 adults 1 infant 1 child) and the property was good enough . Could of done with some things for infant such as high chair ... stair gate at bottom of stairs ... but we managed by blocking stairs with chairs and sitting infant on floor for meals on a sheet . The owner was very nice on phone when arranging key collection . I would book this again dispite the no high chair and stair gate because it was a lovely relaxing property to be in and both my children slept all night both nights .... Amazing!!!

Location as described.. Place is tired - several minor and not so minor repairs required. Some dust on surfaces. Had to change bedroom sheet to a better one (found these on premises) as one put on bed knackered (bobbled). Photos no longer represents property - living room different with 2 large 3 seater settees. Garden no longer has large trees (removed). No longer any front gate. TV only has limited Freeview reception as on indoor aerial only. Kitchen fairly well equipped though some items need replacing (worn). Good for dog as useful field nearby to let off lead as well as large garden. Nice to be provided with a small Xmas tree though could not be plugged in as large unit blocks socket. If booking then be aware that no washing-up liquid and.no welcome pack provided.

Bungalow in need of modernisation, very 80's. Would say suitable for 4-5 people as 2nd bedroom is a very uncomfortable sofa bed and you cannot get to chest of drawers without climbing over end of bed due to shape of room. Last couple of days we were plagued with neighbour who has a dispute with owner of bungalow. Plus side it has a large garden for children and dog and a conservatory. 5 minute drive to Asda and lovely walking area at end of road for dog walking

It had a lovely conservatory to sit and look out onto the Garden, the location was good.

The garden was really great, especially as it had various birds and two squirrels in it at various times. We ended up buying seeds to feed them and filling up the water holders daily - but it was well worth it. Location was excellent as it was easy to walk into town and the area itself was lovely and quiet. The bungalow itself was very comfortable, have booked again for next year.

An amazing place to stay, would highly recommend this to anyone, the bungalow was like the Tardis it just kept going on and on, all the facilities were excellent garden was kept tidy with grass freshly mown, didn't have any problems with the shower like previous person had commented on, and the master bedroom had been re-fitted with new furniture and carpet, if your looking for a place to stay in Weymouth then this is the place for you. We will definitely be booking again

Cottage was within easy walking of Weymouth front and all amenities, an excellent location for accessing Dorset; from Poole to Lyme Regis. The cottage was very comfortable, peaceful and relaxing (all we needed). Would not hesitate to stay there again.

Well where to start with this, We found this property 2+ years ago, we liked the garden for our dog and the property sounded just right. So this was our 5 visit Not this time, it needs some money and time spent on it, the wardrobe doors keep falling off the runners( been like this 2 years now), shower head is held together with clothes pegs, this time shower was far to hot despite it being set to minimum, laminate floor in kitchen is moving with gaps in the boards, the fridge leaks, the boiler leaked, kitchen utensils worse than useless. The cooker extractor didn't work, neither hoover worked so you can't clear up dog hair or grass from garden. Grass in garden wasn't cut, far to long to enjoy the garden, rear fencing in a terrible state(again some of it 2 years ago). No garden furniture in garden, dinning table wobbles if you try and eat from it. Double bed mattress very soft and lumpy. Front gates are no longer in place the side entrance is only blocked off with a palette covered in netting, so safety is compromised, also broken glass from the old greenhouse is laying on the concrete area at the top end of the garden. Only 1 door key was available inconvenient if more than 1 couple stays. And last but not least no wi-fi.

Have never used Sykes before but found it very easy to book etc. when we arrived we had problem with TV - our fault but owner couldn't have been more helpful in sorting it out. Property in excellent location and was easier walking into town than we had expected. Very quiet and due to exceptionally hot weather we didn't use the car much so we're delighted with the large garden and visiting birds. House itself had all that we needed and was quiet and comfortable. Only problem we had was refuse collection system. Food waste bin wasn't taken because we used plastic bags as we didn't know otherwise. Needless to say we've booked again next year.

Very comfortable house. I went with my sister and elderly mother who needs a zimmer frame to mobilize. The house was perfect for her, especially the shower. The property was in a quiet area but still reasonably close to the sea front.
