The lodge is clean & comfortable and well stocked with cleaning products.. I usually take my own washing up liquid, sponge & cloths but everything was provided. We stayed in summertime lodge, which had the most amazing outside area, which with 2 young children was fantastic. It’s lovely and peaceful with amazing views, perfect for relaxing in the evening. I can not fault anything about the lodge, I would just suggest taking more coat hangers. The owner Mrs Gethin, is lovely & really helpful. We really enjoyed our week at the lodge and will most definitely stay again.

Kitchen, living area and bathroom is really nice but bedrooms are a little old fashioned, we recommend taking your own bedding.. We had to “fix” a few things but managed. Found lots of extras for the kitchen in the shed (washing up liquid, wipes etc). A little bit difficult to find in the dark - sign is a bit hidden and won’t fit more than two cars per lodge. Really nice views and nice area.

We had a lovely holiday here .. .... the lady owner was so friendly & helpful. Sofas & bed were very comfortable - a very good position for sight seeing North Wales. Only bad thing about it was the kitchen is so small only one adult can really fit in it at a time so it was me who had to do all the cooking etc .... my husband had a wonderful relaxing holiday!!!! Also maybe a lock on the bathroom door would be a good idea for a family with teenagers or a group of friends as the door doesnt actually close - only a minor thing for us though!!!

The location is nothing short of amazing-perfectly positioned for the beach, shops and tourist spots all over North Wales. We were greeted by the wonderful Mrs Jill Gethin an extremley young and physically fit 84 year old lady. We returned to the lodge after a day out and she was gardening and tidying the grounds. The views from the decking are to die for, the lodge is modern and fully fitted with all you require...we intend to return twice next year

Door on fridge would not close therefore food wasted freezer compartment too small dish washer in a fifthy state even after cleaning it no cupboard space to put food in not worth the expensive price we paid.. *** Owner Response *** Thank you for your comments. We have spoken with the owner and she has confirmed these comments have been taken on board and are in order. ***

The lodge has everything you need for a great stay, you dont need to pack alot of clothes as there is a washing machine which with two children came in very handy. there is a town nearby, it has a tesco also the town has some lovely places to eat, the lady who owns the lodge is lovely and very friendly, very welcoming. Situated in a small village, with local shops/takeaways only 5 minutes drive away in Abergale.. Also only a few miles away from the beautiful sea side resort of Llandudno (and its many attractions), and also Conwy, with its fantastic castle and harbour. We travelled approx. 30 miles to Llaneris lake, which has a number of family attractions an 1 site (boat ride, train journeys, national slate museum, rock climbing and diving (I believe). It also had lovely views on Mount Snowdon. There are numerous other attractions within a 30-40 mile car journey too. So, all in all, a lovely place to stay. whilst exploring the lovely North Wales area.

Our week was definitely enhanced by incredible weather - and the decked outside seating area was just perfect, with a view to die for, overlooking rolling fields and hills with a few very relaxed-looking sheep! The road behind the lodge was close but not very busy and didn't spoil the peace and quiet. The lounge was plenty big enough for four adults and the kitchen was perfectly adequate as long as you took it in turns cooking, as it was a bit snug. The bedrooms were small and a bit cramped but we all slept well so what did it matter? The only thing that I missed was a lock on the bathroom door - it would have been OK for a family but four adults found they needed to do a lot of singing in the shower to avoid embarrassment! Our landlady was lovely and the lodge was well placed for visiting the whole of North Wales. Overall a great holiday and good value for money.
