This cottage ticked all the boxes for our stay. We stayed for a week with our XL Bully dog! The cottage is on a working farm, with sheep, chickens and pigs and not forgetting the numerous Pheasants. From the minute we arrived on the yard, we knew we had chosen the best cottage. We were met by the host Geoff, who lives next door. he was friendly and was lovely to chat to. The cottage had everything you needed/wanted. The bedroom was light and airy and the bed was comfy. The kitchen was equipped with everything you needed and as for the welcome pack - WOW this was one of the nicest and well stocked packs we have ever had. The garden was big enough for what we needed and the bbq was great as we were in a heat wave. We were given access to the field out the back too, which was great to take our dog walking in the morning and evening. The lounge had a pull out sofa bed which was great as we had some friends stay and they said it was comfy. There's a decent TV with dvd player and a stereo. Be aware the road is narrow up a country lane but there are passing places to pull into for on coming cars. There is a great pub locally - would drive or get a taxi, I have done a review (cross foxes) We would love to stay here again as there is so much to do and see in North Wales

A beautiful little cottage set in a gorgeous location. If you want to get away from everything then this is the place for you. Geoff and Sue made our stay so special. Letting my daughter feed the pigs, lambs and chickens, it was great. Not far from Rhyl and Chester so perfectly central. Cottage was perfect with a lovely garden & a really nice welcome kit from Geoff and Sue. Wifi was excellent and the bed is super comfortable. We have already booked for next year so if you want to relax then I would stay here.

Stone Cottage is a perfect spot in the countryside also very handy for visiting lots of places.. A week isn't long enough to see even a small percentage of the places we wanted to see. Everything was provided and the welcome pack was a lovely touch.

The Cottage was lovely, Geoff and Sue made us feel very welcome.. The Cottage is in a lovely rural location but was still within distance of what we wanted to do. Lots of animals around which my Daughter loved. Erin also had fun playing with Rowan. All in all we had a lovely week. We would definitely stay at the Cottage again and would highly recommend.

Lovely little cottage and like home from home, all the facilities you could need (though I think the freezer needs a look at, works but is quite noisy) Lovely hosts and beautiful scenery.. Was lovely to wake up to the animals each morning and the gorgeous little lambs, the Turkey was a surprise guest :). Very friendly hosts and were available to answer any questions. Received a really nice welcome pack to which was a surprise but very much appreciated. There are plenty of fields to give the dog a quick run but you will need to drive out if you want to go on a proper walk which we did on a couple of days. It was lovely to just sit on the patio in the sunshine with a glass of wine and to enjoy the peace and quiet. I managed to totally switch off from everything which is what I went there for, just myself and my dog had a very peaceful and relaxing time. I would definitely recommend a visit.

The cottage was in a beautiful rural setting.. It was very clean and had all we needed to make our stay very enjoyable. We were out and about enjoying all Wales had to offer, and at the end of busy days it was good to come back to a cosy cottage.

The cottage is great - they have thought of everything you could possibly need right down to the small things, truly a home away from home! It is cosy, comfortable and clean. The location is perfect as there are shops etc nearby, but it is also amazing for walking as it is surrounded by fields. There is plenty of room for parking, and it is easy to find. The only down side for us was that the garden is not secure enough to let dogs off the lead - they can get through the fence very easily, straight into the area where the sheep and turkeys are. This was a big worry for us as we would hate for the dogs to upset the other animals - I am aware the listing says dogs on leads outside of the property however a secure garden would make the cottage even better. Also the bedroom is right by the kitchen, and the freezer is very noisy so this was not ideal throughout the night. All in all, a great cottage and we would love to stay again. Thank you for your hospitality!

The cottage we stayed in, Stone Cottage, was beautiful.. Comfortable, clean and all facilities that you need, home from home. The location was quiet and off main roads but easy to travel around Wales from there. The scenery was amazing and having lambs outside your door was fabulous, as well as the sheep and other animals. The owners were so friendly and welcoming. Would definitely go back .

Ideal location, perfect for door-to-door walks, lovely views. The property is on small holding, and so it was lovely to see the gorgeous pigs/hens/turkeys. The size of the property was excellent, and well appointed, including washer/dryer which is most helpful in the winter months and being avid walkers. The owners are really nice people too, very relaxed and friendly.
