Beautiful views from the cottage, better than the photos showed.. We were fine for pillows as there were only four of us, but only one pillow was supplied per bed. Other than that the house was very well equipped and in a great location.

We spent 10 days in Ireland and our time at the Stone Cottage was our favorite part of our vacation.. We loved exploring Dingle Peninsula and coming back to the peaceful cottage was a perfect way to end the day. Sitting in the backyard and taking in the beautiful vistas was absolutely amazing!

We stayed for a week at the end of March, early Apri. We know the area quite well but we hadn't stayed out beyond Ballydavid before. The cottage is in a very remote location but is superbly appointed, with spectacular views out towards the Atlantic in one direction, and of Mount Brandon the other way. The cottage is equipped with every conceivable modern appliance and can accommodate three couples comfortably. Large windows make the cottage light and airy. The nearest pub is 25 mins walk away and it takes 15 mins to drive to Dingle. The owner lives next door and has sheep and cattle, as well as numerous dogs! There are two itinerant goats who wander from field to field. The weather wasn't great but even the darkest day can brighten up suddenly and surprise you with brilliant sunshine. We had a great time and would love to return.

Beautiful cottage, modern and suits needs of young family.. Nice and warm and stunning views from all windows. Directions to the cottage should be given, as it’s no where near Ballydavid. Co-ordinates are on the website but in very small writing. A simple FAQ sheet would help with small things like nearest shop/pub/restaraunt/takeaway/church and to be left with all other information sheets. No large bin given to dispose of bins that fill up in the house. Overall we enjoyed our stay, it’s was what we expected with the exception of the small view advisory bits mentioned. Would come back. PS you will need a car to get here.

The location was excellent, vehicle parking not so good.. the car had to be left on the side of the road and was showered with grit etc from passing vehicles. The kitchen was not clean the cooker was old and not up to the normal standards, the cupboards weren't clean one was particularly bad. We will definitely not go back to this property its not up to the standards of Sykes properties we have rented before and since a thumbs down.

An excellent home located in a beautiful area Northwest of Dingle. We loved the rural setting with all of the sheep and the farmers dogs. There are ocean views from the back of the property and the master bed room. The owner was very nice and interesting to talk with. The cottage was spotless.

The whole family loved the landscape of the Dingle peninsula. The views and the hikes along the cliffs, coastline and up the mountains were spectacular. We also enjoyed the town of Dingle, the pubs (in town and down the road from the cottage). The cottage was perfect: a beautiful stone building, completely renovated inside. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. The cottage looks out on the ocean, cliffs and mountains. I loved being able to go for amazing walks without driving anywhere. We shopped for groceries in the town of Dingle and cooked great meals together at the cottage and had wonderful family time. We loved the friendly, Irish people. Thank you, we will remember this holiday.
