Springtime Lodge is a superb, detached ground floor lodge, situated in Rhyd-y-Foel, just a few miles from the coastline at Abergele and Colwyn Bay and can sleep four people. The lodge has a double bedroom with en-suite basin and WC, a twin bedroom with 2'5" wide beds, a shower room and an open plan living area with fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area with gas fire and patio doors leading to a raised decked terrace. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and a lawned side garden. Springtime Lodge is a lovely base from which to explore Wales.Property accepts 2 well behaved dogs

All ground floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x double with en-suite basin and WC, 1 x twin (2'6"wide beds). Shower room with shower, basin and WC. Open-plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with gas fire.

Area
Beautifully positioned between the remarkable Vale of Clwyd and the outstanding Conwy Valley, the tranquil village of Rhyd-y-Foel is just one mile from amazing sandy beaches that link the well-known coastal resorts of Abergele and Colwyn Bay. With wide, expansive beaches, the area is renowned for offering safe bathing waters and exceptional water-sports facilities. There is also a great number of walking trails, including the Offa's Dyke pathway and the Clwydian Hill Range. Bodelwyddan, Rhuddlan and Conwy castles are all within easy distance and are worth visiting, as is the Victorian town of Llandudno for its quality shops, restaurants, fantastic dry ski slope and exciting cable car rides. With so much to see and do in the local area, visitors to Rhyd-y-Foel will be spoiled for choice.

The log cabin was wonderful.. Unfortunately we had to cut our holiday short because of the Welsh Covid restrictions but shall certainly book again in the future The owner Mrs Gethin was most hospitable and very obliging.

One of three lodges with breathtaking views. Close to the beach and Abergele. The lodge is well presented and hidden from the other two. Well worth a stay.

The holiday lodge was conveniently placed for the Expressway enabling quick and easy access to the North Wales tourist and beauty spots.. It had beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and mountains and, had the weather been warmer, we would have enjoyed sitting out on the balcony with our coffee. The lodge itself was well equipped, very clean, comfortable and cosy. We were made most welcome by Mrs.Gethin and her sister and we very much hope to return again.

The property was fantastic, Gill the owner was a gem and couldn’t of been more helpful! The location and views was stunning and the lodge was clean, warm and well equipped! We really couldn’t of asked for anywhere nicer! We will be back to stay again and again would like to thank Gill for such a lovely place and helping accommodate us at such short notice

WOW This is an amazing place, its our first time staying in North Wales and we could not fault a single thing.. Springtime Lodge was brilliant the facility's were fantastic and aslo the view is to die for. We stayed as a family of 4 it's was perfect. Mrs Gethin the owner was the most beautiful and amazing person, very helpful as initially I got lost trying to find the place so rang the owner and she jumped in her car to find me and I then followed her as she showed me were the lodge was. I would give this place 10 out of 10 was very peaceful and relaxing would recomed to everyone as I no I will be telling my friends and family to go (only so I can tag along) it really is axing here.

We have just come back from a lovely week in North Wales, staying in a lovely lodge on the hillside.. The lady who owns the lodges was very friendly and helpful, the views from the lodge were amazing, and the peace and quiet was wonderful. Would highly recommend!

Springtime Lodge is a wonderful place to spend a few days - fantastic views with a relaxing atmosphere.. Plenty of things to do within a few miles drive. The owner was absolutely lovely and made us feel completely at home upon arriving at the property. We intend to return another day. Highly recommended.

Pleasant, comfortable and with wonderful views.. Lodge is in the perfect place. But I think it needs to be re-furbished as a lot of the inside is looking a bit worn. But we still had a great time.

A lovely comfortable, airy lodge with a decked area and pretty lawned garden.. Lots of privacy (there are three lodges in a row, this being the far end, so you are hardly aware of the others.) And a beautiful view from the big double doors and the deck.

The accommodation was first class. It was warm, roomy and very comfortable. The view we had was fabulous. My friend and I have enjoyed the whole experience. We were within a few miles of many places to see, everyone was friendly and we would definitely go back again. The owner is a lovely lady, she was there to help with anything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she made us very welcome, we were so pleased to meet her. We certainly would recommend this holiday venue to anyone, it was so peaceful there.
