Effortlessly chic, this apartment is a quieter pied a terre in the authentic 14th arrondissement. Once home to Joyce, Hemingway, and Baudelaire, the playfully Parisian neighbourhood maintains its bohemian spirit with a lively café culture and tantalising creperies, while only being a thirty-minute metro trip away from the City of Light. Inside, this place is a classy customer, with a red statement staircase leading up the light-filled bedrooms, plenty of gold accents, sleek black furnishings and gleaming glass doors. We loved the quirky details – from the oversized clock to the abstract artwork – this really is a home with character. Though the real jewel in the crown has to be the private garden, benefitting from streams of sunlight in the morning, it's the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee (courtesy of the Nespresso machine).
