This is a great cottage.. Comfortable and ideally located in a very quiet area but still so close to Skipton town centre. The kitchen was fab with everything you might need. Lovely gardens to sit out in. Great walks in the area and loads of bars, cafes and restaurants close by. Skipton is a great market town with a castle and woodland walks. We had our 2 dogs with us and we all had a fantastic stay.

Having previously visited skipton we wished to return with friends. We were happy when we found spinners nest - only being a 5 min walk to the town centre and being located in a quiet street we were more than happy to park the car and walk during our 5 day stay. The house is well equipped for cooking though we preferred to eat out. All you need for your stay is supplied including towels, bedding and cleaning products. The house is cosy with character. The staircase is steep but okay once you have been up n down a few times. Instant hot water available with a very powerful shower. The owner has thoughtfully put notes in specific places to help make your stay comfortable ie note at fireplace with basic instructions on using the fire, same again in the toilet re the shower. Would recommend spinners nest as nice, clean, well equipped accomodation in a good position for exploring skipton and the dales.

We visited the cottage for the second time for a short break.. The cottage is really nice, clean and handy for gettung into Skipton. The beds were very comfortable too. Some visitors should be aware that phone signal isnt brilliant to the cottage, though obviously no fault of the owners. Overall a brilliant short stay

Fantastic house close to the centre of town and facilities.. Close to pubs but in quiet location. Good layout of house and very near to supermarkets. 5-10 minute walk from train station which was good for my husband going to Leeds match. Good communication with owners and my two dogs also had a fantastic time! Couldn’t have asked for better location for a family visit to Skipton - one holiday where I can say we hardly used the car - in a house of 3 car owners!!!

We have stayed in Spinners nest 6 times now.. It has everything you need for a comfortable enjoyable stay. It's only 5 min walk into town and less to join the canal for a lovely walk. We have enjoyed our stay and we love Skipton.

Lovely homely cottage with all the usual equipment supplied and surprisingly spacious.. Just a couple of really small things would have made our stay perfect. There was no hand wash or soap in the upstairs bathroom, nor dishwasher tablets or washing up liquid in the kitchen - apart from that it had everything we needed and was in a good location, close to town and the railway station. We would recommend this to friends if they were staying in the area.

This is the 5th time that we have stayed at Spinners Nest.. The cottage has everything you need for a great holiday. Comfortable and well looked after. It's in a nice quiet area, and has off road parking. It is in a great location, and a great base for walking. 5 minutes walk takes you onto Skipton high street, where you can find everything you need. Great on market days. Lots of cafes, restaurants, bars and pubs. Lots of dog friendly places too. Which our barney loves.

A perfect location in a quiet upmarket development in Skipton. 4 minute walk from excellent local shops and no through traffic ( only surrounding residents). Parking opposite front door. Facilities first class with every need catered for . As much thought has gone into the planning as would be given for a private home. Many original features have been retained alongside a modern, well fitted Kitchen, and Bathroom which is fully tiled with an immaculate suite. Very comfortable with good furniture and quality soft furnishings. All this and a welcoming atmosphere - who could ask for more?

The cottage is lovely and very homely. Everything that you need for a home from home holiday is there, and we really felt relaxed and settled. The enclosed yard was great for our dog, and he spent a lot of time out there with us on an evening enjoying the late sun. You are only a five minute walk into Skipton and a minute from the canals, which are great to walk along. We all really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

A lovely homely, comfortable, cottage, in a quiet street, with unlimited parking right outside the door. The lounge sofa's were very comfortable which is always very important to me as I have back problems. The stairs are steep and we had to come down backwards for safety. It is an easy 8--10 min walk into Skipton to explore, so no need to take the car. The cottage has a safe, enclosed, yard so we could let our dog roam. Our only negative is there wasn't enough mugs in the house. Also, I found the kitchen was not as clean as I would like, but I am fussy. Skipton is a fantastic town to stay and explore the Dales. We would love to stay again and recommend that you do as well !

A very quiet location but only a 5 minute walk to the town centre. Skipton is a fabulous market town with plenty to do and see. The back yard was small but as it was completely enclosed was safe for both small children and dogs. Had comfortable furniture and very well equipped kitchen. The whole house was light and airy. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed for half term week, and had a fabulous week there. The cottage is clean and well equipped, everything that you would need for a week away. The cottage is well located - within easy walk of a supermarket and also skipton town centre. There is a really good market in skipton three times a week. Skipton also has several excellent public houses.
