After surveying your surroundings from the Juliet balcony, head outside for a swim in the communal pool or wander through the grounds, past centuries-old olive trees and through the orchard abundant with oranges, pomegranates and persimmons.

If you’re feeling curious, jump in the car and explore the neighbouring towns of Vélez-Blanco and Vélez-Rubio, both a fifteen-minute drive from your doorstep. The latter has been declared an official Place of Cultural Interest due to its historical heritage. On particularly warm days, cool off with a trip to the coast – Playas de Vera is an hour and ten-minute car ride away.
