You’ll find this Grade II listed cottage tucked away in Stow-on-the-Wold. Sure, outdoor space is limited here with just a small courtyard that serves no real use, but the interior is packed full of charm. The wood burner will be a welcome sight after a day out exploring the Cotswolds, and settling down under the old beams in the bedrooms will send you off into a restful sleep. There’s not a huge amount of storage space in the bedrooms though, so if you don’t want to be tripping over your suitcase, it’s a good idea to pack light.
Home truths: *Your host can provide a cot, high chair and stair gate for free. You'll need to request them in advance and bring your own cot linen.
*At full occupancy, only one infant can be accommodated due to space restrictions.
*The twin bedroom can be made up as a super king on request.
*There is unrestricted free on-street parking nearby.
*You might find that the phone signal is patchy from time to time.
*A starter supply of wood is provided between October and April.
*The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound-only basis. This home may not be suited to those with limited hearing.
*The area is very busy around 12th May and 24th October due to the Stow Horse Fair. Some local amenities are closed at this time.
