House a little dated some of the beds very uncomfortable although I must say .... House a little dated some of the beds very uncomfortable although I must say they were clean House generally needs an update especially the furnishings and curtains and bathrooms There are things that could be made available such as a mop and bucket for the floors as I had to purchase floor wipes to clean the floors downstairs to keep them clean On the plus side the house is close to the town and for touring I personally would not return

The house is in a perfect location and was a fabulous size.. The beds were really comfy and clean. We did enjoy our week here. However...the house is looking tired. The bathrooms were dated and tiles were looking grotty as a result. The kitchen was dated and in need of some TLC in places. The garden should have been lovely but sadly consisted of 2 wooden picnic benches a one painted wood reclining chair surrounded by unkempt lawns. It suited us, we have 4 kids and a dog. But I think the description should reflect the age of the fixtures and fittings

Skellig Ard house is a beautiful, spacious house situated in a lovely quiet cul de sac.. It had 3 shower / bathrooms which was great for our party of 7. Super, big , enclosed garden for the dogs. The house was situated right in the beautiful village of Clonbur and next door to the house was the proprietor's hotel which provided us with entertainment and food. Mr Lynch who owned both house and hotel was very friendly and helpful with any questions about the house. His staff were all very welcoming and friendly. I would thoroughly recommend this house as it was very comfortable, close to amenities and a super base for sightseeing around galway. Great holiday.
