We booked this cottage for a birthday weekend away and we were not disappointed. The cottage was beautifully clean and smelt fresh on entering. The kitchen had everything you could think of needing and a lovely welcome gift of fresh eggs. Milk, bread, butter and a delicious Bara Brith was awaiting us. Perfect for a brew and snack after a long drive. The cosy lounge room with the open fire and starter pack for the fire was perfect and very welcomed as we had the good old “welsh weather” .... rain and wind for 2 of our 3 days. We didn’t venture too far from the house but we did manage to get to a local visitor attraction called greenwood... great for kids! There was a basket full of leaflets for local attractions and things to do, places to eat etc which helped us choose and plan our days. There was also a selection of games and colours for the kids which came in useful to keep our 3 children busy. The owners were lovely and although their property is attached you neither saw or heard them unless they were leaving in their cars. The bedrooms were cosy and the beds were comfortable and we all slept well indeed. All I’m all we had a fabulous few days here and we would happily go back here and recommend this to any one.

Everything went very well apart from the rain which no one could predict.. Plenty of indoor alternatives in the cottage if the weather stopped one from going out. The owners were next door which was handy. Very hospitable and friendly family with plenty of local knowledge. Ideal cottage for families and the facilities were great.

This lovely cottage is very well equipped and comfortable. We stayed as a couple, but there was more than enough room to comfortably accommodate a family. The welcome pack left for our arrival, including milk, bread, butter and cake, was a very nice surprise. The owners were available, if needed, living next door and were very friendly. The cottage is well placed for exploring both Anglesey and North Wales. Beaumaris, approx. 1 1/2 miles away had lots of places to eat as well as shops for any supplies needed. We would highly recommend this gem of a cottage.

It helps when the weather cooperates like it did for us, but the house was excellent.. A lovely base from which to explore Anglesey and all of North Wales, the house was large, spacious and well appointed. The paddock and garden were perfect places for small children to play, and the skylit bedrooms were brilliant. Highly recommended, and Bari and Kate were super friendly hosts.

Owner lives next door and was really friendly and helpful - welcome pack was a lovely touch and the children enjoyed the cake ! Excellent property for people with mobility issues - there are a couple of steps but as downstairs bedroom and bathroom this enabled grandma to join us on weekend away which was nice Property clean and homely with everything you need Great location not too far from Beaumaris Would recommend

The house was warm, comfortable and very inviting and is probably the most well equipped holiday home in which we've ever stayed.. Thanks for the butter, milk and fruit cake that were there on our arrival, it was a lovely touch.

Kate and Bari were very warm and welcoming right from the start and they seemed to have thought of everything that a visitor might need.. The accommodation was spacious (inside and outside). Would certainly recommend it and are very likely to go there again.

It was a lovely holiday in a very lovely property.. Perfect for our multi - generational party - cot / high chair / plastic crockery / washing machine for the kids, and the downstairs bedroom was great for grandparents with poor mobility, and the cottage was very spacious so we weren't on top of each other. Would definitely recommend this property or consider using it again if wanting to have another holiday in Anglesey.

It is really well equipped, like a home rather than a rented property.. The owners are lovely and my son even had a little brass lesson from the owner as he is learning to play the cornet!

Everything about the house was excellent including the warm friendly hosts.. I find Sykes a very easy and helpful organisation to deal with. The website is very clear but most importantly it is easy to speak to a person on the telephone.
