It boasts two bedrooms; a double and a single, sleeping three people. There is also a bathroom, kitchen/diner and sitting room with woodburning stove. Outside is a raised patio garden with steep steps, garden furniture and views across open countryside, as well as roadside parking. Shamrock Cottage allows you to enjoy the holiday you desire in a lovely part of Cumbria. Please note: The stairs to the terrace are not suitable for the infirm as well as very small children.

The village of Allithwaite is located at the edges of the Lake District and Morecambe Bay. Nearby is the village of Cartmel, renowned as the prettiest in the Lake District, is just 2 miles away, and boasts charming streamside walks, quaint cobbled streets littered with antique shops, traditional pubs and the acclaimed Michelin Star-awarded L'Enclume restaurant. It is also home to the famous priory and racecourse. The picturesque Edwardian seaside resort of Grange-over-Sands is also within 2 miles and features a traffic-free promenade, delightful ornamental gardens, a choice of golf courses and excellent birdwatching opportunities. A superb base from which to enjoy this magical area.
