Two years ago, I would have given this apartment 5 stars without hesitation. Moreover, we had written a very complimentary comment in English in the guestbook of the apartment. But we were somewhat disenchanted this year for the following reasons: - out of order dishwasher (a small poster indicating it having been stuck on the machine) and which will not be replaced... until January. - completely broken television (less than 10 local advertising channels in Swiss German); - heating not working (we were cold for 5 days); - broken down elevator; - broken lamp bulbs; - carpet riddled with stains. The apartment manager quickly responded to our complaints by calling in technicians who restored the proper functioning of the television, the heating (the technician nevertheless had to come three times) and the elevator. There remains the dishwasher, the light bulbs and the carpet. Regarding the carpet, another manager had told us two years ago that the owner was going to change it, which has not been done. In my opinion, this carpet, of very good quality, does not need to be changed; indeed, with a simple damp cotton pad, I managed to easily remove 4-5 stains, which makes me think that a cleaning company or the manager could shampoo using a machine appropriate. This would save the owner several thousand francs. All this to say that Interhome or the person in charge of VIP Services should ensure the proper functioning of all the elements making up this apartment. Finally, taking into account the inconveniences encountered and the period considered (October), the price of fr. 1'700.- for nine nights seems very high to me. The fact remains that this apartment is superb and has all the qualities for an excellent holiday. In fact, we are seriously considering going back. Mary Berr
