Rambler's Rest is a terraced cottage in a courtyard setting, just two miles from Bridlington. This single-storey cottage sleeps two people and has a double bedroom with en-suite bath and an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area. Outside there's off road parking for one car and shared use of a rear lawned garden. There's so much to see and do in the area, so you're sure to find something to suit all tastes. Rambler's Rest is an ideal romantic base.

All ground floor. One double bedroom with en-suite bath, shower over, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining table and sitting area. Shared external utility.

Area
The seaside resort of Bridlington lies on the east coast of Yorkshire, south of Scarborough and Filey. Bridlington offers two award-winning beaches, an historic harbour, promenades, shops, attractions and restaurants. Further afield are the picturesque villages and scenery of the Yorkshire Wolds, the resort of Hornsea and the heritage coastline.

Region
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Two travel cots, two highchairs, a baby gate and a baby bath is available on request. Electric charging point with designated car parking space. Off road parking for 1 car. Shared rear lawned garden with BBQ. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub is less then 1 mile away. Walk to the beach is 1.5 miles. Note: Check-in 4pm, check-out 10am. Note: The area is dark if walking out on an evening, so torches are provided, but the area is fabulous for star gazing, as there are no street lights around. Note: Seasonal Organic fruits and vegetables available for the guests to help themselves (please note this is not always available). Note: 2x summer houses: 1x summer house for children adults not allowed, 1x summer house with Bird's hide to the rear. Note - During Christmas season the property will be fully decorated. REYTA 2020 Finalist for remarkable self catering accommodation of the year. The owner has some mobility equipment that is available to Customers. Please Note: No stag or hen groups accepted.

Ramblers rest is in a lovely quiet location,just what we needed for a few days r&r after looking after our grandchildren.. It is well equipped and certainly one of the best holiday cottages we have stayed in.Lovely to be able to have a cup of tea immediately on arrival as Sarah provides tea and milk etc for your first cuppa.

French doors advertised were not there, just normal window.. Sink, bowl, draining tray filthy, shower mat filthy. Had to wash crockery before use. Heating on timer so had no control over it and bathroom always cold in morning. Owner did offer money back, but we made do as we'd travelled all that way for a week away.

Ramblers Rest was excellent value for money.. The location was ideal for walking and touring around the area. A very peaceful spot that seemed miles from anywhere yet within walking distance from a major supermarket, buses and the railway station.

Everything was perfect! The cottage was very cozy, the location wonderfully tranquil and quiet and the neighbors were very welcoming and always had time for a chat! ;-) Sarah and Andy, our hosts, literally went out of their way to make our stay pleasant and exciting! They gave us so many ideas for places to see and things to do - pity we only had a fortnight. We enjoyed helping ourselves to the fruit and veg from the garden and watching the birds from the bedroom- what a luxury! Anna & Markus from Germany

Had a fantastic weekend stay here. Great location, quiet and relaxing. The owner Sarah was waiting to show us round and answer any questions we has. The communal room has many books, DVD's games, washing machine, outdoor games and BBQ equipment for the quest to use. The cottages are well equipped. Although it's only a one bedroom the sofa bed is very comfy so can sleep 4 people in total. We will be going back. Sarah and Andy are wonderful host's and so welcoming.

Beautiful cottage everything I needed lots of places to visit secure parking the cottage itself was fabulous I had everything I needed you could sit outside on sunny days table and chairs also you had access to the big garden I would recommend the cottage

This is a lovely cottage in a super area of the country and we enjoyed walking to the beach every day we were there. We received an enthusiastic welcome from the owner, which made this a special holiday and we do hope to go back again.
