Seaside holiday in Bridlington staying at Seascape. The house is extremely comfortable and has everything you need, it really is home from home. We booked a beach chalet to coincide with our holiday cottage. This was perfect, we walked down to the most amazing beach at south cliff with our picnic for the day. Then to come home to the home comforts of Seascape. Fully equipped kitchen to prepare tea, plenty of hot water for everyone to de-sand! A very comfortable sitting room with views out to sea to relax in. On the odd evening we went for a walk down to the harbour. Would definitely recommend Seascape. Its perfect.

I found the steps out of french doors in kitchen to garden a little tricky for any one who is not as nimble as a younger person to manage, a rail would give a safer journey down and up,when you get down it is very nice in the garden.. Another TV would be useful. Our expectations of the house and position of it were very good, every thing was very tasteful bed very comfy a lovely view from main bedroom window, all in all our holiday was very enjoyable so much so have booked again for next year.

Brilliant place to stay.. All electrical appliances were in great condition. Lovely pottery and cutlery. Whole layout of house great. A lot of thought had gone into letting this property. And you also get a starter pack. Nice thought.

We all had a wonderful week at Seascape, it was an extremely good holiday home with excellent facilities and great touches ie milk, tea, coffee, sugar and bottle of wine left for us on arrival.. The beds and bedding were fabulous and we all slept well. The location was great with Bridlington having activities for all ages. We will definitely holiday at this house again. Also when we had to call the owners with queries they were extremely quick to respond and deal with them.

2nd time staying at Seascape and our 2nd Christmas.. The house has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Bridlington. The house is immaculately clean throughout. The new living room sofas are comfortable and provided ample seating for our family. So much space our 3 year old had plenty of room to ride about on his toy bike. Bedrooms are a good size and having the main front room to myself was very indulgent. Waking up every day to the sound of the sea is delightful.

Spent a week at seascape and it is a lovely property. Everything is spotlessly clean. The kitchen has everything you need during your stay and the fact there's 3 toilets is great if there's a few of you staying. The bedrooms are lovely and the beds are super comfy with good quality bedding and we could not fault upstairs in any way. The room that let the house down for us is the living room unfortunately. On the pictures of the inside of the house it shows a lovely long white leather sofa in the living room but what's actually there is 2 mismatched sofas and an old brown leather chair. The red sofa and brown chair have definitely seen better days as both are very uncomfortable if sitting for any length of time, the other sofa is ok but still not very comfortable. The furniture in there is also dark wood and along with the red sofa and brown chair makes the room feel very dark. The TV is too small for the room, the living room is massive and has high ceilings and so the TV just looks lost, it's the size most people would use in a bedroom. The carpet also has several noticeable stains in various places which show up with the carpet being a light colour. No problems with any other room but the living room needs attention. For this reason we didn't fully enjoy our week so wouldn't book again.

Christmas '18 Absolutely fantastic holiday property overlooking the beach and sea.. The facilities within the house were clean, modern and all inclusive. We wanted for nothing. Our dog loved it too - the garden was completely enclosed and she had plenty of space in the house (and she's a very big dog!). The owners were helpful and welcoming, even putting up a Christmas tree and a few decoration before our arrival. Would definitely book again.

Booking was straight forward online and I used online chat to get immediate answers to my questions before booking.. The property was exactly as described but we thought the photos didn’t do it justice. Spacious, clean and very comfortable and well equipped for the 5 of us. This is our fourth Sykes property and one of the best.

Fabulous house in a fantastic location.. Well equipped and had everything we needed. The enclosed garden was a great plus point as we took our dog. We looked to book next year but the weeks we wanted were already taken ☹️. All the family agreed that it was a wonderful holiday.

The location and spaciousness of this property is perfect for families with young children.. There is plenty of room for children to play and the furniture is practical and robust. The large kitchen/diner is ideal, with modern appliances and loads of crockery etc. and the french doors lead out onto the enclosed garden, which is a is a lovely safe play area. The parking is a real bonus, and being able to walk out of the house straight down onto the promenade and beach is great. We stayed with our small grandsons aged 3 and 5, and it couldn't have suited us better. We willl defintely book this house again if we return to Bridlington.

It was so good we tried to extend our stay but appreciated it's fully booked.. We all want to come again. The property was so spacious it makes our 5 bed home seem small now that we are back.

We had a great week at this perfect cottage (well large house!). It is right on the front just a few steps from the beach. Our two girls (ages 3 and 5) loved it, and it was only a minute to get back and cleaned up from the beach. There is also a toddlers paddling pool on the way down to the beach which the kids enjoyed. There is plenty of parking at the cottage, as you don't really need the car to get around. We had great days out at the 'birds of prey centre' at carnaby abc at sewerby hall, which are both geared up for young children. For those who like real ale, the telegraph was a great pub with a good range of ales! We have already booked again for next year!

We stayed here for a weeks holiday, the house was fantastic and had everything we needed. The outlook from the bedroom every morning was superior, the kitchen was well equipped and the beds comfy. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and off road parking was a plus. The beach was just across the road and had miles of beautiful sand. Town was a short walk away, the Lobster Pot pub was a short drive away and served lovely food. A trip to the lighthouse at Flamborough and Filey is recommended. Overall a fantastic break :)

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay at Seascape. The house was excellent in every way. The view from the windows were lovely. We thought having your own parking space is a big bonus. The fenced in garden at the rear of the property was a lovely safe environment for our little dog, she loved it. We would certainly recommend Seascape to our family and friends.

Well equipped 3 bedroomed semi-detached property overlooking Bridlington's seafront and beautiful beach. Front facing bedroom has a beautiful view with en-suite facilities, bathroom with shower over bath and down-stairs toilet. Comfortable beds and all linen and towels supplied. Good amenities, large fridge freezer, washing machine and drier with dishwasher, good size kitchen and large dining area. Lovely large living room overlooking seafront. Enclosed garden with furniture, parking in driveway. Nice 5/10 minute walk to Spa and centre of Bridlington, with some really nice drives around such as Sewerby Hall and Beverley. Good Wifi. My only niggle would be that your pet is not allowed in the living room which would be better stated in the booking conditions as this may be off-putting for some pet owners.

This was the best holiday home we have ever booked. The house and the location is fantastic; a short walk into town and to the beach. The only disappointment was we could not book the house again later in the year! We would recommend the property to anyone; all you need to bring is yourself and your clothes, everything else is provided.

When I arrived at the property it far exceeded my expectations, and they were high. Where the property was located was ideal for walking my dog on the beach and also for walking into the town centre. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and I will certainly be using it again. Highly recommended.

June 2015
We enjoyed the proximity of the property to the beach and town. We visited Filey, Flamborough, Hornsea and Beverley where we did quite a bit of geocaching. Coming home to the house in the late afternoon after being out all day was very welcoming; there was always plenty of hot water to soothe our aching bones. The view from the window was lovely, looking out to sea.
