Seasalt Cottage is a semi-detached luxury cottage in the centre of Ventnor on the Isle of Wight. The cottage can sleep four people in two bedrooms which are a king-size double and a twin with a family bathroom. The rest of the cottage is made up of a ground floor cloakroom, a kitchen with breakfast bar and a sitting room with dining area. To the outside is parking in a public car park behind the property approx 4 min walk awaay and an enclosed decked courtyard with furniture and barbecue. Set in a wonderful setting, Seasalt Cottage is a great place to enjoy a good seaside holiday.

Two bedrooms: 1 x king-size double, 1 x twin. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Ground floor basin and WC. Kitchen with breakfast bar. Sitting room with dining area.

Area
The quaint Victorian seaside resort of Ventnor is located at the southern end of the island and accessed via an array of steep winding roads set amidst beautiful scenery. Sheltered by St. Boniface Down, this charming town has a uniquely mild micro climate enabling tropical and exotic plants to grow throughout the area. The gently sloping sandy and fine shingle beaches and coves provide excellent facilities for watersports and offer a range of stunning coastal paths to explore.

Region
The Isle of Wight, with its beaches, unspoiled scenery, rich heritage and over 500 miles of award-winning public footpaths is a walker’s paradise, or if sailing is your thing, the renowned annual Cowes Week is not to be missed.

We enjoyed our stay at Seasalt Cottage, and love the I.. O.W. The location was good, everything close by and the beach within walking distance. A big problem was the parking, you could not park at the cottage and paying for car parks was very expensive for the week. When we arrived at the cottage there was no bin bags as stated or any dishwasher tablets, dishcloths etc. We have had to purchase the bin bags whilst we were their. This is the first time we have ever stayed in a cottage where they do not provide any cleaning products at all.

The cottage was amazing, exceeded our expectations and we are looking to re-book next year.. Great communication with the owners throughout the booking making our stay relaxing. Location was ideal for beach access during the day and plenty of restaurants in walking distance in the evening.

We were so happy to be able to book a few nights away! ! Seasalt Cottage was absolutely perfect for our needs. The property was very clean and well appointed. The décor is beautiful and very calming. We received a lovely welcome pack upon our arrival - for which we were very grateful. The cottage is located in a small, gated development, just off Ventnor High Street - which meant that trips to the shops and the nearby beach and restaurants were really easy with two children in tow! Nowhere is too far on the Isle of Wight, so we took plenty of day trips around the island - but were always very happy to come back and relax in our home-from-home. The owners provided us with plenty of information including tips on where to eat, what to see and beaches to visit - which really came in handy and was much appreciated. We visited just after lockdown lifted - but lots of restaurants were opening up and pleased to have visitors. I'd recommend booking at the moment. We would highly recommend Seasalt Cottage for a break. Book it quickly - as we have already recommended Seasalt Cottage to lots of our friends :)

This is a second.. Visit and it was just as good as the first the location and area are ideal for getting around the island, we did feel that the cottage did require a little bit of maintenance work here and there ,but it is the end of the season.

Seasalt Cottage is a beautifully decorated house in the quietest of locations yet only a stones throw from all the restaurants cafes bars and shops that the lovely coastal town of Ventnor has to offer.. Just a 5 minute walk to the beach and promenade. The house has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing holiday and all to a very high standard. Parking is just around the corner and a weekly ticket allows you to park in many other car parks all around the Island. This is a real gem and well worth a visit.

A lovely cottage right in the centre of Ventnor.. Bus stop 20 yards so getting about was very easy. Cottage is in a secure setting behind locked gates.very quiet at night, was not waken, slept really well. Cottage was a home from home, highly recommended.

Total relaxation! Beautiful walks, and no distance from tourist attractions. First time at Isle of Wight and hopefully not the last. So easy to pack up the car and no stress travelling there.

Fitted out very well but would suggest a non slip rubber mat for bath/shower, a fish slice and a pair of kitchen tongs for turning food over..
