What a lovely place to stay really well equipped and spotlessly clean away from the hussel and bussel amongst the trees and a stone throw from the sand mrs John is very helpful with everything and even contacted us to make sure everything was OK we recommend this cottage and have already booked for next year

Really impressed with this lovely secluded property. If you want peace and quiet this is the place to go. Set in a beautiful location. Everything you require for your stay. Luna the dog really loved her walks along the beach. We loved it so much we have booked 2 weeks next April.

The area is lovely and very quiet and we really looked forward to returning however the lodge is more than a little tired there are so many areas requiring attention the cold tap on the bath is not attached to the bath, the plug hole on the bath leaks, the kettle needs shaking to switch on, both the front and back door keys both need wiggling to work (a fire hazard? ), the WiFi router is glowing in the main bedroom, the oven and pans have not been cleaned properly for sometime, the heating timer in the hall ticks really loud all night, there are a lot of cobwebs everywhere.

Second time here, the setting is amazing.. Cabin is warm, but it really is time for a little TLC. Some new crockery and utensils, deep clean of oven and revarnishing the floor would make the place amazing. Plus the outdoor furniture is rusty and splitting.

Directions to cottage was little confusing but the owners were available to support.. Toilet lock broken. More clear instructions needed on disposing the bins. We may have missed this amongst the long list of emails.

This holiday cottage was unclean, poor standards,we could not use cooker as it was disgusting, floors filthy, damp & fustty in all rooms, we had to clean surfaces before we could use them.. Decking covered in moss & leaves.guttering full of moss & because of it,it's coming thru the bed room ceiling around the edges. Very disappointed. We returned home Tuesday as We couldn't stay there any longer. We booked this holiday February. Nothing like the description or photos. Sorry I can't think of anything nice to say about the accomadation. If it was properly looked after, maintained it would be fantastic. L. Burrows.

If you want peace, this is the place to go.. Great place to bring the dogs, they have the run of the beach. Very tired, happy dogs and relaxed owners. Booked online, straight forward. Website is easy to navigate. Which makes the whole process stress free. Will be booking again with Skyecottages.

Skye Cottages very helpful as I had to change the booking before we went - the cabin itself was surprisingly very warm even when heaters weren’t on and the bed was again surprisingly very comfortable.. I think the only constructive comment I have to make is that perhaps the cabin should have had a covered area such as a porch because with the weather being so bad and several dogs we needed to dry them before going indoors

Llansteffan beach - no swimming allowed because of mud beds, etc.. which is pity as my children love swimming. No hose pipe to wash down the sand off wetsuits, water shoes.

Fantastic little cabin, a real gem.. This was our first family holiday, two adults, a baby and two dogs and it was just perfect. We had a great week weather wise which of course helped. Great location for dogs and they were well secured within the cabin, they loved the wildlife... A little too much. The cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed. It was lovely and quiet but just a walk away to the village. Great tea room and pubs, very friendly. We love Llansteffan and actually got engaged in the castle 3 years ago so it's a special place for us.

The woodland cabin is situated off the beaten track in Llansteffan just steps from the quiet end of the beach. The location was beautiful. We were travelling with our two very young children and two small dogs and the cabin was perfect for us. There is a dog-proof area for the dogs and the veranda is also enclosed which makes it perfect.

We stayed at Seadrift Cabin for one week at the beginning of July and had a lovely time. There was milk, bread and toffee waffles provided for when we arrived which was a nice surprise. Our highlights of the area would be the stunning beaches and scenery, the castle and the pub 'Inn at the Sticks'. My only criticism would be that the cot provided was broken and had been put up very obviously broken when we arrived. Other than that we have no complaints and would certainly recommend.

The location is fantastic, so quiet and so close to the beach. Seadrift is warm, comfortable and well equipped. Having WiFi was a bonus. Having a secure garden for my dogs was also very good as there were so many rabbits around that they would have chased them otherwise.
Mrs Cook

February 2015
The lodge was well maintained, the bedding was fresh and clean, as were the towels, and there was extra bedding if we needed it. Also, the wood burner was amazing, but the heating was also very good when we ran out of wood one night. Overall the lodge was beautiful and in a beautiful location.

Had an a fantastic relaxing winter break at this beautiful cabin. The location was brilliant, just a few 100yds from Llansteffan beach. The cabin itself was lovely and the owners had made it very homely. Can't wait to take my family there again.

A quiet, peaceful location yet a minute to the beach and estuary. The decking area was enclosed so our dog was safe and not able to wander.
