I was overcharged for the booking and could not make contact with Sykes cottages despite phone calls to UK, being left waiting for 15 minutes and emailing the company.. It was extremely stressful and frustratating. The booking was made through Booking.com and yet Sykes Cottages jumped in and completely made a mess of the details. I received no reply to any of my emails begging them to ring me. Just before we arrived, they sent an email stating they were refunding the overpayment withdrawn from my account and still no phone call. Eventually the landlord contacted me the day we were due to arrive and knew nothing about my efforts to contact the company. The house is lovely and the landlord couldn't have been more helpful. Sykes Cottages were a disaster, in my opinion and should be avoided.

just back from a week's stay in 34 Seapark. Fab in every way. Very close to main street/beach etc. Perfect for kids, can play football in the park out front. Loads of room, very clean, well equipped. Very impressed with this house. We are going to return most definitely. We were a mixture of families - 3 adults & 4 kids aged 3-9.
