Our apartment was clean, but they were doing some renovations. Lots of rubbish in and around the building. Swimming pool and sun loungers were not usable. You can't rent this out like that.

The apartment was good, clean and you could feel comfortable. A big advantage of the apartment is the close proximity to the beach. The pool is also very nice, you can use it to cool down in the evening before going to sleep. The area is scenic. You have very high mountains at the top and the sea below. However, the constant curves when driving can be quite annoying. We also had to deal with a few days of violent storms, which occur in this area from time to time.

The proximity to the beach is a big plus. However, there is neither a bakery nor a supermarket in the village. For this you have to drive to Karlobag. Accommodation could be better serviced. E.g. poorly closing doors, defective lightbulbs
