We stayed in this house the last week of August 2020. Its a lovely house. 3 bathrooms well big and clean and modern. The bedrooms the same, very comfortable and slept well. Looking out of your bedroom windows front and back. You can see the sea, so you do get a sea view. The living room is very comfy and modern too. TV is very good. The kitchen I think was to small sorry to say. For a family of five, to feed them all, there wasn't much room to cook. And not much room when you have the dishwasher door down. With the rubbish there wasn't much room to recycle it. There was only one been. But if you can cope with this, it's fine otherwise. When you walk outside your home. Just down the road is the beach. It's just beautiful I loved it. The weather wasn't brilliant but it never stopped us. Thank you so much for a lovely holiday. And thank you for leaving a chocolate cake for us. We did enjoy it, a very nice touch.

Really well equipped 4 bedroom house just 3 minute walk from beach.. Spotlessly clean with great central heating and plenty hot water for baths and showers at any time. Wi-Fi was excellent and the large TV had added bonus of free Netflix for evening viewing. Very comfortable lounge and large dining table good for family meals. Very quiet area at night so sleep is a joy. Lots to see and do in area to keep the whole family happy. The beach here is outstanding and our 4 year old Golden Retriever had a great week on the sand and the dunes. Highly recommended.

Our second stay at Sandy Cove and still the most comfortable and cleanest property we have stayed in.. Beautiful location - 2 minute walk to the beach. We have booked many properties with Sykes over the years and this is the only one we have stayed in twice. Fully enclosed garden and downstairs toilet. Easy driving distance to Alnwick, Berwick, Morpeth and Newcastle. We hope to return again. Many thanks.

Sandy Cove is a wonderful place to stay.. The location is superb, within 30 min drive of Lindesfarne, Bamburgh, Alnwick, Seahouses, Dunstanburgh and everything inbetween. The cottage itself is just 100 yards or so from the sweeping Beadnell beach. The cottage was very clean and well furnished with a full larder and garage for all the holiday essentials. I would recommend it and would gladly stay there again.

We were three generations of our family on this holiday stay.. The accommodation is well equipped, with everything we needed. The house is ideally located for the beach, rock pools, and the coastal walking paths. We couldn't have asked for any more, thank you.

We had occasion to call Sykes twice.. Both calls sorted the issues quickly. Minor winge - think one key for 4 bedroomed house is not on - there ought to be other keys inside. Yes the one key could go back into the key box but the key box is perhaps over-used because of there being one key... and is quite difficult to open at times. Clearly not everyone in a party wants to come and go at the same time. All in all a well equipped & nicely furnished large house on a quiet road very close to an excellent beach. Btw, the only reason didn’t give it top comfort was because sofas getting a bit squishy.

Sandy cove is an extremely comfortable house.. On entering the property it was lovely and warm. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. I have been to a few properties in Beadnel and that is the first that has left a welcome pack. The kitchen is well equipped and everything was clean in it. The linen on the beds was spotless as were the beds. The king size bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've been in. Plenty space in the property. 3 bathrooms. One being a shower room with toilet down stairs. An enclosed garden which is safe for children and dogs. Great location just 2 min walk to the beach. We are looking forward to going back in October and taking our grandchildren.

The cottage had generous accommodation for 5 with four bedrooms and three bathrooms and plenty of storage with a garage and second fridge/freezer.. We could easily store all our bicycles and have direct access onto the road. We can recommend the village shop for fresh bread a wide range of necessaries, the pub The Craster Arms to walk to and for great atmosphere and, of course, the main feature, easy access to the harbour and coast both South to Newton and North to Seahouses (where all facilities can be found). We also recommend the Willowburn Leisure Centre at Alnwick for swimming, fitness classes etc.

This was our second stay at Sandy Cove & once again enjoyable.. The use of the garage was a bonus with drying off two wet dogs & the close proximity to the beach was great, also the enclosed escape proof garden.

This beautiful holiday cottage is located in the heart of Beadnell. It has a sunny enclosed garden with a patio, the perfect place to relax and have a coffee and breakfast outside in the seating area. This property is very well maintained and has a lovely seaside decor throughout the house . It is everything you need and is a home from home. First time I have ever had a welcome package and it was very much appreciated. The ideal Base as Seahouses and Alnwick are very close too. Perfect stay and will definitely book again.

Very well-equipped and spacious holiday cottage so near to a fantastic beach and great for small children.. Could not have asked for more from a weeks holiday and the games provided were great for our 3 year old. Facilities exceeded expectation and we had a relaxed and very enjoyable stay at Sandy Cove. Beadnell is a lovely destination and the village offers enough. There is plenty on the doorstep to plan days out. Great holiday!

This is our second visit to this property and this time we didn't bother consider looking at other rentals, so please were we with our first stay. The owners have taken the time to invest in things like excellent Wi-Fi coverage which keeps everybody happy on the odd rainy day not to mention the snooker table in the garage. The house is spacious and very well equipped and maintained. We were worried first time round about it being Dog friendly but as non pet owners we couldn't detect any smell. Another big plus is the big Dining table and the large secure back garden. Situated in a lovely quiet street in a beautiful Northumberland village I struggle to fault it.
