Great holiday in a lovely well equipped and comfortable house.. David was very helpful both before and during holiday - bringing out a new cot bed for us late on the Saturday evening. Lanreath is a fairly small village but with a shop that stocks everything and whilst there is no longer a pub there is a social club within walking distance which everyone is welcome to attend. Lanreath is also ideally situated to visit many great places within a short distance. Great holiday, would recommend.

Samuels cottage was fantastic the gardens were brilliant for our dogs well maintained and ideal to allow our dogs to roam the cottage was very cosy and well stocked with equipment ie games books and a vast array of DVD the location was brilliant "far from the Madening crowd" we shall definetly be returning .. Your staff were very easy to deal with whenever we phoned always polite and helpful. One problem why penalise people who do not want to put their personal on the Webb by charging them extra

Samuel's Cottage proved to be a perfect location for exploring all that is good about the south east of Cornwall.. The cottage was immaculate and extremely well equipped for our party of 4 adults and 3 dogs. Upstairs is particularly comfortable and the beds were excellent for providing a good night's sleep. David was generous enough to leave us a cake in the kitchen to enjoy for lunch and was extremely helpful in the days leading up to our holiday. Looe is such a beautiful place and only 6 odd miles from Lanreath, with great pubs and restaurants. We really loved the quality of the beer/food, atmosphere and service at the Olde Salutation Inn and the Old Sail Loft Restaurant.' The place had a real friendly feel about it and the view of the small boats at high tide from the bridge separating East and West Looe was stunning. Polperro was a little "twee" for the dogs but a lovely place all the same. If you don't mind climbing down (and back up) to a wonderful beach then Lantic Bay gives you the very best that Cornwall has to offer, with a beautiful beach and crystal clear waters. Our favourite spot to take the dogs for a run on the beach was at 'Whitsands Bay' to the East of Looe, with it's 4 miles of wide and spacious sandy beach (though a short climb down from Tregantle is required). Pelynt was handy and just 2 miles from the cottage and had good pubs/social clubs and a couple of supermarkets. The very generous Sunday roast at the Jubilee Inn was too much for me but lovely. Staff near enough everywhere were extremely friendly (if I ignore the barman at Smugglers' Inn in Seaton!! If you like the idea of travelling slightly further afield then Charlestown is a lovely spot with a great harbour, shingle beach, picturesque cottages and a good selection of cosy drinking establishments. It also featured in the recent BBC series 'Poldark'. A perfect break for us and the dogs and a certainty for another visit in the not too distant future. Thank you again David for your hospitality and Sykes Cottages for a great service.

Samuels Cottage was clean and cosy.. There was plenty of room for the whole family. The garden was a good size and great for our dog. The community village shop was extremely handy, stocking most things.

David owner was warm and welcoming nothing to much trouble, made it perfectly clear he was there at hand if we needed him. There were seven adults and we all thought it was great.. It is well equipped and there is plenty of room. It is located in a pretty friendly village. The local shop is very handy too! Although the only pub is closed and for sale there is a social club which is cheap and again very friendly a short walk away. It is central for a lot of places to see and only 3 odd miles to the beach. But I would recommend that you have transport! We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
