In its enclosed back garden you can adults can relax either on the decked area for an alfresco dinner or reclining on the steamer chairs whilst the lawned area is great for children to play on.Just around a five minute walk will take you to the Brewers Quay area so popular with visitors and locals as it has Hope Square with good restaurants, a pub, bistro and cafe along with an atmosphere of people enjoying life. Just next to Brewers Quay is Newton's Cove, a little pebbly beach and Nothe Gardens which overlook the sea. Alternatively just a minutes' walk from Hope Square is the pretty old harbour, the perfect place for fish and chips, or harbourside dining. Just a few minutes' stroll from the harbour is the main beach, which is long and sandy with shallow water and adjacent to the beach is the Weymouth town centre. With so much just a short walk away you may find no desire to travel further. However, you may like to explore the magnificent Jurassic Coastline, famous for its fossils and millennia of history, or one of our traditional villages such as Abbotsbury for the children's farm, tropical gardens or a cream team.Accommodation:Hall way. (The owners are happy to accept pets but due to a family member having an allergy it is important that guests adhere to our pet policy, ie no pets on the soft furnishings or in the bedrooms and would appreciate if any pet can sleep in the kitchen or left unattended for short periods.)Christmas / New Year Bookings: Owner will provide a Christmas Tree and decorations.Short breaks out of season are welcomed at Rowington.
