This is my third time visiting the cottage in Rosmuc - I love it.. The perfect base for exploring Connemara. The included fuel is a brilliant addition, as anyone who's ever visited Ireland will know, it's almost permanently wet and damp in winter so great to be able to get the cottage warm and comfortable without having to worry about incurring costs. Will definitely be returning

A lovely cottage to get away from things for a week.. We'll stocked shop withing a mile, supermarkets 40minutes away. Lovely walks and beaches in close(ish) proximity. Great wood and peat burner. Very cosy. The owner had stocked some items for the dishwasher, washing machine, etc. All in all a lovely place to stay.

Very charming little cottage - very comfortable and well equipped with a lovely garden.. The garden isn't secure for a small dog but it's located on a very quiet road and the gates mean that a dog is at least slowed down before reaching the road. We kept an eye on my dog and she never got out onto the road. Only thing I would change is the shower cubicle but the shower itself is great. We had a fabulous holiday here.

We have stayed in many holiday cottages, but this one surpassed all expectations.. The owner was there to greet us and show us around and we were amazed at the facilities. The kitchen was fully equipped with spotless utensils and pans - everything was clean and shining! It was cosy and the stove was a treat in the unseasonally cold weather. The garden was well cared for and the dogs loved it too. It's a beautiful tranquil spot and so convenient for touring around Connemara. It comes very highly recommended.

The surroundings were so beautiful, it is a perfect retreat from a busy work/life balance. The cottage was extremely cosy and had everything you could wish for. Its location whilst remote is still close enough to the main road which makes travelling for days out much simpler.

We spent a week in this beautiful cottage in a lovely location. The property is full of character, very well equipped with everything we could want. The garden was lovely to laze in when the sun shone and a day was spent lazing by the fire, reading when it rained. A great location and we would buy this cottage if it was for sale! The most relaxing place in Ireland!

The provision of turf and wood was a big advantage, particularly in winter. Ample provision of saucepans and utensils made cooking of Christmas dinner straightforward.

We wanted somewhere remote, close to water and with grounds for the dogs to run and play. This property was ideal for that. Also, the owner provided a lovely personal welcome, with a roaring fire already on the go.

Was brilliant to have all mod cons on holiday i.e. dishwasher, tumble etc. Lots of accessories, plates, crockery and more. Very comfortable. The cafe at the sailing club in Clifden served lovely food. Con National Park was lovely and Dogs Bay Beach gorgeous!! Kids loved everything and are missing the cottage and Ireland.

This cottage exceeded our expectations. A stunning cottage in a rural setting, it was peaceful and quiet. The cottage contained everything that could make our stay easy - we were amazed at how well equipped it was! We were greeted by the owner who had started a fire in the wood burner, this was such a wonderful welcome after our journey. Galway is every bit as stunning as we had hoped, we had a perfect week exploring and left feeling relaxed and determined to return. We would thoroughly recommend this cottage to others.

Lovely cottage bit south of Connemara proper, just a bit too far from galway. Great place to snuggle up with a book in front of the fire. Lovely owner, kitted out well. Dogs had a great time and we relaxed:)

Have just had one of the most relaxing holidays. The countryside is spectacular and the cottage a fantastic base. The dogs enjoyed it also, albeit the weather was very hot but there's plenty of water around, lakes or sea. People very friendly and welcoming.

Rosmuc Cottage is in a beautiful peaceful location, there are plenty places to visit e.g. Cong, Cliften, Orterard and also Galway. The cottage itself is absolutely lovely with tiled and wooden floors, it has everything you will need from iron, hairdryer to dishwasher, washer and dryer. The owner was a lovely welcoming lady who made us feel at home. We were just sorry we couldn't say thank you and goodbye because we had to leave as we had a long drive to get the ferry. I would definitely recommend this gorgeous cottage, it's a fab place to visit. Thanks again.

A very well equipped cottage with everything you could need for a self catering holiday. The scenery was absolutely wonderful and we were lucky and had wonderful weather - 24/25 degrees for the whole week. An excellent base from which to tour the Connemara area. This holiday certainly exceeded our expectations - we returned totally relaxed. Thank you for a wonderful location and holiday.

We stayed here towards the end of Sept and had a wonderful week long holiday. The cottage is really well equipped and has a fabulous shower!! The Rosmuc area is really lovely - we explored the area on foot on mainly quiet lanes and deserted beaches. The walk from the cottage across the cottage's land to the coast was lovely and we even saw an Irish hare down there a couple of times, which was a real treat. Aside from the immediate area being lovely, the cottage is conveniently located for travelling either to Galway City and the wider Connemara area. It's easy enough to hop onto the main road and head in whichever direction you'd like to. The owner was very welcoming and accommodating with arrival and departure arrangements. All in all, a great holiday, super cottage and really wonderful location. We'd happily return!

We had a lovely holiday at this beautiful cottage. The cottage was very well equipped and perfect for a family of four. The owner was very friendly and helpful and very understanding when we arrived late, having taken a couple of wrong turns. We particuarly enjoyed the deserted local beaches and fell in love with the whole area. Thank you!

A haven of peace and tranquility. Very friendly pub/garage/shop. Coastline through gate beautiful and shared only with a few cows. Attention to detail in equipping cottage was second to none. A lot of care and attention had been applied.
